Bellatrix Apparated into the room full of Death Eaters, looking panicked. She had Voldemort lying limp in her arms, and she was cradling him like a doll. She ran to a nearby empty table and gently placed him onto it. He was covered in burns, and he was unconscious. He was struggling to breathe. All of the Death Eaters ran to the table. Nagini slithered up the table and sat next to her master.
"What happened?" asked Lucius Malfoy, slightly alarmed.
"There was a horrible duel," said Bellatrix. She was desperately trying to shake Voldemort awake. "Someone said a strange incantation…then there was fire everywhere!"
"Calm down, Bella," said Narcissa, putting a hand on her shoulder. The two sisters glared at each other menacingly.
Then they heard a moan from the table.
"Bella…"
Bellatrix turned around and took Voldemort's hand. He started to cough the smoke out of his lungs. After a few seconds, he freed up his breathing. Bellatrix firmly put her hand on his throat until he was forced to swallow. That seemed to clear out something in his throat and he could speak.
"Where did you take me, Bellatrix?" asked Voldemort. His voice was horribly raspy. He started to sit up, but Bellatrix laid him back down.
"Please rest, my Lord," she said. Everyone took note that his muscles were unusually stiff. He started to moan.
Narcissa put a hand on his neck. He was unusually warm.
"He might be ill," said Narcissa.
"Please, my Lord, rest!" Bellatrix insisted. She placed a blanket over him and he fell asleep after a few minutes. Bellatrix did not leave his side.
"What are we going to do?" asked Lucius, looking pale.
"I don't know," said Bellatrix. "I guess we just wait for him to get well enough to heal."
