"Icy"
A "Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends" fanfiction

I'm very aware that I need to update Fostyr's Home for Imagycnary Friends. However, I can't think of anything else for it at the moment so I wrote this in the hopes that I won't be attacked. This could be told from the Icy from the world of Foster's or from the Icy of the world of Fostyr's. Take your pick.
How it hurts...
To see you...
So happy.
So very, very happy.
...So like my creator.
Our creator.
Colored like buttered bread...
So different...
Little abomination.
...Dearest little sister.
Beloved by our creator,
You are so happy
Around that one.
Yes.
You know of whom I speak.
The tall creature.
The red thought.
The lover of games.
The best at smiling.
Your new friend.
...Wilt...
So strange...
This emotion...
Foreign.
Familiar.
I swore to banish it.
I would not allow myself to...
To...
To feel.
...And yet...
Here I am...
Watching you...
...And him...
And feeling
Love...
Jealousy...
Hate...
Icy...
I am Icy.
...Icy...
Me.
My namesake.
How ironic!
This name from a child.
A child...
No.
She could not be called such.
She was never truly a child...
Was she?
Our creator...
...Poor creature.
The shadows torment her.
...Her mother tormented her...
The fear of being hurt haunted her.
...Her mother's anger haunted her.
She desires to be loved...
So she created us...
Me.
And you.
I took care of her.
I loved her.
I protected her.
My creator and yet so like a daughter.
She longed for a mother who would love her unconditionally.
I loved her like that.
...I still love her like that.
I may be here always.
I may never leave this very spot.
I may never die, either.
But I will never stop loving her.
She so wanted that.
She still wants that.
I wish that she would've kept you.
You are her foil in so many ways.
Yet...
You love her as a sister.
Not as you love me,
Your older sister,
But as you would a younger sister.
...Toast-chan...
You are so like her.
And yet...
So unlike her...
How I miss her.
Author's notes:
This is a poem I came up with while mentally cursing my computer for being difficult.
In case you're utterly bewildered by the choice of bold, italicied, and underlined words, let me clear that up here. As Icy thinks she has a natural tendency to think along the lines of what she feels in a negative way towards, in a positive way towards, and in a posessive way towards. This doesn't show up in Toast's reading of her older sister's thoughts, though, because Toast just thinks of things as they are and doesn't put much emphasis on anything in her mind unless it'll get her happy. Take that how you will. XD
