Draco's POV She's been dating Potter now for at least 6 months. And I stand in the shadows, a distant memory long forgotten. It all started one night in February last year. I was walking around school, it must have been 2:00 or so . I just had to get away from the idiotic ramblings in the Slytherin Tower. I heard crying by the girls bathroom. Ginny was sitting on the bench by it, crying her eyes out. "hey, Weasel. What's the matter? Potter got you down?" "Shut up Malfoy." "Okay, fine. But.do you wanna hear a joke?" she didn't respond. "Okay there's this little kid and he's dressed as a pirate for Halloween . So he goes to the first house and the lady at the door says 'Oh, what a cute little pirate. But.where are your buccaneers?" So the little kid says, 'They're under my buckin hat lady." She smiled, I went on. "What's the difference between beer nuts and deer nuts? One's a buck fifty and one's under a buc." Ginny stood up. "You know your not as much of a badass as you think, Malfoy." I looked at her. "Is that so? I'm more a badass than you." That's when she grabbed me and pressed lips to mine. I knew they'd be bruised in the morning. She pressed her tongue against my lips. And I opened my mouth slowly. She excavated my mouth until I ran out of breath. "Oh, yeah. You're a real badass."
We drifted out of eachother's lives, with quite a bit of snogging involved. And then one day, Potter reaizd what he had right in front of his nose. And she's gone. So I stand here watching. Until today .
Ginny rounded the corner and I pulled her into the lighted closet. I pushed my lips to hers, and at first she didn't resist. But then she pulled away. "What the hell do you think you're doing Malfoy!?" she yelled. I smiled weakly. "Rekindling the old flame." "I'm with HARRY." "Well, you're gonna have to choose between us." I said. She turned away. "I already have."
Ginny's POV
I walked into the Gryffendor Tower to see Harry sitting in one of the oversized chairs. "Ginny. " he said. "Dan told me that he and Seamus saw you and Malfoy in a closet today." I faltered. "Well, I.he." "Shit Ginny!" he screamed. "If you're doing stuff with Malfoy..I can't do this anymore Ginny. It's too hard."

I was running laps around the Quidditch Pitch when I saw her coming. "I choose you!" she yelled through the rain. I ran over to her. "Sorry, babe. I can't be your second choice." And I ran towards the school.
