Do you remember
That fateful day
On the beach,
And what you didn't say?
Do you remember how
She said goodbye?
How you faded away
And she started to cry?
You were hers,
She was yours,
But then you left,
Through those blue doors.
She was a flower
Left on a beach.
She was Rose,
Left out of your reach.
You couldn't laugh,
You wouldn't cry,
You couldn't smile,
You couldn't die.
She couldn't laugh,
She couldn't smile,
She just stood
There for awhile.
Now she's gone,
And you are too,
Tell me,
Do you remember her,
And does she remember you?
