The two figures watched intently from the shadows "Do you think we can pull this off?" The 9-year-old with soft pink hair and baby blue eyes whispered, his teenager partner's sightless sea green eyes darted towards the sound of his voice and his mouth twisted into a comforting smile "Relax Forrest" he whispered back "We'll only fail if you panic, now where's the chilly academic heading?" Forrest admired how he was able to keep his mind-set on the task at hand, before he scanned the area "Ansem's study". Break impatiently twirled his cane in his hand; although he had put on a brave face in front of Forrest he was also nervous "Here he comes" he heard him whisper and was proud of his determined tone. Break took a deep breath before handing the cane to Forrest "5 minutes" he promised, before staggering out into the main walk-through, fake coughing and clasping at the walls as if his existence depended on it "IX! What the hell happened?" Break felt the concerned hand on his shoulder 'now!' within seconds he had both of Vexen's arms pinned successfully behind his back "IX!" it was amusing how someone with no heart could sound so frightened "What do you think you're doing Demyx?!" Vexen demanded as he continued to thrash in Break's iron grip "Your coming with us" Break focussed intently on the sound of Forrest's voice, using it as a beacon "And I'm afraid you have no choice in the matter" Break finished firmly as he felt a large portal that Forrest must have created swallow them.
A girl who was incredibly tall for 17 stood facing the floor to ceiling window in what they called the den, since this was normally were you'd find most of the members at any given time. Today however, it was empty save for her "How to convince him without put all of us in danger" she muttered pushing her hand through her long crimson hair, pushing stray pieces off her face although some pieces fell straight back "He's calmed down, still 'angry' but not as bad" a voice from the doorway said casually, Blaze turned and gave the platinum blonde haired boy a smile "Thanks for letting me know Indi" The sharp blue eyes narrowed as he took in his friends worn out posture and tired expression "Blaze, you don't look so good, please, Vexen can wait for a while" he begged, only to grit his teeth when she shook her head "Sorry Indigo, but I promise as soon as I've taken care of everything I'll rest" Indigo sighed as Blaze brushed past him out of the door "That may be the only promise you'll never keep" he whispered, walking slowly over to his beanie chair and pulling out his notepad "I want to see you smile again, see the sun behind the clouds".
In the highest bedroom in the castle a girl lay staring sadly out of the window "This causes them so much pain" she shook her head "I'm not worth it" "Don't you ever think that way" Twisting weakly to face the figure looming in the doorway she smiled sheepishly "Hey ya" Roxas strode across the room, this wasn't the same Roxas that had walked out of the very same castle so many years ago this Roxas barely showed a trace of emotion and expected others to lie to him. But this Roxas had also raised all the nobodies that resided here and was considered the best of the best on several worlds with a vast knowledge of spells and tactics at his disposal. "Better?" he questioned softly as he adjusted the pillows behind her so she didn't have to strain to sit upright "Yeah, I felt a new presence early, so the plan worked?" Roxas sighed and just pushed her silver bangs of her face "Yes, although I wish they'd snagged V, he at least is quiet" Xera laughed softly her mind composing a perfect image of the stoic nobody "Are you going to talk to him?" she asked, her hand sliding slowly, as Roxas had a habit of moving away from others, over the sheets till it rested on top of his own clenched fist. Roxas smiled at her wearily "I have to".
