Prologue.

We're breakin' free

We're soarin' , Flyin'

There's not a star in heaven

That we can't reach

If we're trying, Yeah we're breaking free

She had it all.

The looks. The boys. The grades.

Sakura Haruno was the girl everyone wanted to be, with her bright emerald green eyes and bubble gum tinted hair, she got everything she ever wanted. Guys would topple over backwards for her.

That was, untill she met Sasuke Uchiha.

Two weeks earlier..

Sakura stretched her arms above her head, giving a soft moan as her back cracked, instantly making her relaxed. She plopped down on a green patch of grass and caught her breath. Her eyes closed, enjoying the warm summer's breeze on her skin. Iruka had pushed her hard in training this time, their annual track meet was coming up and she needed to be ready.

Sakura was Konoha High's top athlete.

"Sakura! Hey, your not done!"

She opened her eyes to see her sensei standing over her, his hands on his hips. Sakura sighed and stood up, dusting the dirt off her running shorts.

"Hai, sensei."

"I want ten more laps, then your done." Iruka lingered for a moment before leaving to go instruct his class. Sakura watched him go as she stretched her arms and legs, getting ready to run again.

"That's amazing, Sasuke!"

Sakura looked over to her right, to where the jocks were. Her cousin, Naruto, was patting the new kid on the back with a huge grin. Sakura looked him over. His eyes were dark, and deep. Any girl could get lost in those eyes. His skin was almost was white as hers, and his dark raven hair resembled a chicken's ass. She couldn't help but snicker at that.

'So his name is Sasuke... He's kinda...cu-'

"Sakura!"

She shook her head and tore her eyes away from the boy, taking off in a slow jog, working on the ten laps she was givin. Sakura took her time, her eyes wandering towards the boy with the chicken hair everytime she went by. Sasuke looked over at the girl who was checking him out, and the second emerald clashed with onyx , all time in Sakura's world stopped. Her eyes searched his, and then traveled down to his slender neck, his prominent shoulders, his hard chest..

Sakura shook her head and turned her gaze to the track infront of her, focusing on her running. She was not gonna let this Sasuke distract her from her studies.

...

...

... Or was she?

'No. I can't. I need to focus. Focus, focus, focus..'

Taking a deep breath, she cleared her mind of all thoughts, except one, that she couldn't seem to get rid of.

'... I like that name... Sasuke... '
