A/N: Bellarke all the way! Even if they don't quite know it yet, lol. Please enjoy. (:

XOXO, Helix.

Disclaimer: I don't own The 100. Or Party City.

When the Grounder cracks Clarke over the head, she drops like a stone-and so does Finn's heart: right to his boots.

He retaliates against the man, but the fist fight is short and blunt and ends as soon as he snatches up Clarke's gun.

Obviously he wasn't allowed to carry one on his person after everything that had happened, but in all fairness, they also weren't supposed to flee from Camp Jaha, either.

Finn is glad she brought it, because this lone Grounder wavers.

He knows what Finn did. Of course he knows-that's why they were headed off and attacked. His bravado seemed to fail once he was on the bad end of the gun though, and Finn uses that advantageously to scare him off.

Bravery rushes his blood in the last of that moment, right up until he sits up and looks over at Clarke. She's frightfully pale and limp; bleeding heavily from her temple and it's coagulating thickly in her hair, too. The intoxicating sensation of self-pride at his own mercifulness toward their attacker is replaced with cold, sickening dread.

Anything the Grounders planned to do to him would be nothing compared to the swift tribulation that Bellamy would dole out to him if he found out Finn let this happen.

If you liked this, you can also check out my other story for this series. It's called "Sucks." It's about Murphy and I like to think it's kind of funny. Anyway, watch out for Greatest Showman one-shots soon! If I've inspired you to, please review!
