Dark Link will be the demon of shadows and darkness alike. Technically, if I recall from the original Legend of Zelda game, Ganon was the Prince of Darkness, so it wouldn't make sense for DL AND Ganon to possess the same powers, right? So Dark Link will be linked to everything dark in general. No pun intended.

**Summary:
When the said bravest of all knights, Etherea, goes out to the Lost Woods in search of a legendary demon named after the Hero of Time, Dark Link, she is thrusted into a world of choices... and her decisions might just seal Hyrule's fate.
Link, at the same time, is in search for his other half as well. But when he meets young Etherea, he might just be in for a surprise.
Who is this young fighter, really? And how will she choose between Link and Dark Link when they are the same people, yet so... different?

**About the Story:
So yes, this is a LinkxOC, DarkLinkxOC story, so be prepared! I have no interest in writing a ZeldaxLink story, so sorry to all you guys who ship the two! And since I've posted this warning already, anyone who flames me because of this reason will. Be. Screwed.
Other than my Pokemon FanFiction, this is probably the only other story where I stray very far from the original plotline. In Pokemon, Satoshi's age was too young so I had to alter it, and in Zelda... well... the plotline was just too confusing to me. But who cares? It's AU, and I choose what happens! Mwahahahaha!
The name 'Etherea' as you might've guessed, comes from the word 'Ethereal', which means 'Extremely delicate and light in a way that seems too perfect for this world', hinted by Google. When I think of Etherea or Ethereal, I'd just like to think of a feather, for no reason whatsoever. Lol. Either way, I'm not really sure how this story is going to go, but there's going to be a TON of new concepts that are non-canon, so beware!
The summary was terrible because I don't know where this is going. But there's going to be romance! Oh yes there are... harhar.
