1. Beginnings

A single leaf drifted slowly downward towards the young trio as it landed softly next to Hilbert's foot. The youth looked to his right at Bianca who had both his and Cheren's arm around her own. She wanted to take their first step out into Route 1, together as they started their journey with their first Pokemon. "Okay guys, ready? Best foot forward!"

The three youths stepped out at once, their primary leg stepping right out of the boundary of Nuvema Town. Bianca let go of Hilbert and Cheren. "Our journey starts now!" she said, raising her arm up high.

A/N: Funny that I started with a Pokemon series first. I wanted to do something that resembles the start of a journey but most journeys start out small. Some start out big. Others, start out with your best foot forward. With 100 words, this was the best I could bring out. Hope you enjoyed it. It's my first time doing a themed writing.
