Privacy: Simon and Jeanette! If this is your first time knowing that I write Alvin and the Chipmunks story you'll find two more on my page! Very short yet funny and cute…
Simon searched through the book shelf Dave had brought him. "Oh c'mon every shelf is filled with books I've read over a million times…" Let's see…Junie B. Jones? No. SpongeBob and the making of Krabby Pattie? No. How to Potty Train Chipmunks? Really Dave.
Simon begins to climb down from the shelf until an odd book caught his eye. JMD. "I wonder what that means." Simon mumbled and grabbed the purple notebook. "This isn't a notebook…it's my favorite song from Jeanette Mccurdy Destiny." Simon squealed.
As he read the song lyrics, he discovered private notes in Jeanette handwriting. Never did it click in his mind. He eyes got really big as he read the words:
Dear Diary,
I am here with the dumbest yet smartest people ever. Alvin is the Mr. Know-It-All and Theodore is Eleanor teddy bear, ugh. Brittany has Alvin and Simon….well Simon is very kind, cute, and sweet but I don't like….
Simon eyes filled with tears and he put the book on the table. He held his head down as he went into their room. Everyone was playing pillow fight. Brittany, Eleanor, Jeanette against Alvin and Theodore.
"Hey Simon help us beat them with pillows." "Nah ah." They all said. Simon didn't say a word or even look at them…he climbed into bed and fell asleep.
When everyone was asleep Jeanette tip-toed over to Simon's bed and shook him gently awake. He turned over and looked at her, "Jeanette?" He whispered as he put on his glasses.
"What's wrong Simon…you didn't play pillow fight with us." "I didn't want to…I'm tired that's all." "No Simon, you are upset because you would play with Alvin if the house was on fire."
"I think I don't like him that much." "Well why didn't you play with us?" "It's what you said…but it's just dumb to think you would ever like me." Simon rolled over and his back was to her.
"Simon I never said I didn't like you." "Yeah you did…it's in that notebook." "Ugh, it's called privacy Simon…and what did you see." Simon rolled out the bed and grabbed her hand, which he has never done before. Jeanette blushed as he pulled her into the living room.
He gently gave her the notebook and took a step back. "Simon there is three things I have to say. First, in this notebook I was trying to say 'I don't like how shy he gets when he is around me' but before I could write it down Dave had called us over for practice and I forgot to finish my sentence. Second," Jeanette hit Simon aside the head, "Never go through my stuff and lastly, I like you a lot Simon."
"You do?" Simon rubbed his head. "yeah, why would I dislike you?" Simon smiled and stepped closer to her and kissed her cheek.
"LAME!" Brittany, Eleanor, Theodore and the Alvin (the loudest one) yelled from the door frame.
