A/N: I had writer's block on my long fic Touched by a Star. So, I wrote this poem about how Katara really feels about Zuko, from Katara's POV (point of view).

Teardrops of my Feelings
Raindrops fall from the skies above
Raindrops fall from the skies above
Like the tears upon my face.
I cannot tell whom I love
That with him is my place.
When I look at him, the message is clear
That I don't trust him because of the past.
But my eyes say what he needs to hear
But he I will tell last.
That's why when he turns and looks at me
I turn my cheek away
And fake a frown so he won't see
What my eyes have to say.
I say many thing I do not mean
To cover up the truth.
In fear of just coming clean
When we're still in our youth.
When I turn my head, my heart cries out
For you not to be upset
Because I cannot live in doubt
And you thinking me a threat.
The reason that I act so badly
Is because I do not want to show
All the pain I have and sadly
Never was able to let go.
I know that if you find out now
Things will only get worse
Because the others won't allow
How I feel and curse.
Plus, when this whole war ends
We will go our separate ways.
All we can be for now is friend
And me just in a daze
Of what I really want to be:
You holding me in your embrace.
Our eyes locked passionately
With eternal love and grace.
But until then, my tear drop
From my eyes onto the ground.
And take the lies from the top
While you're still around.
