Edward POV
In The End
Edward and Bella's Wedding"I can't do this. I'm sorry." I whispered.
"What?" Bella asked surprised.
"Well," I began "I met this girl and well…"
"Oh well if that's all then…"
"Aren't you upset? I mean, I don't want to make you upset but, I mean, you seem just fine with it." I asked puzzled.
"I'm glad that you've decided to tell me this, even if it is a little late. Because, if we had gone through with it, would be a lot harder to tell you this."
"What?"
"Well, Mike and I, we sort of, well, fell in love, I guess." She smiled meekly up at me.
"Ah, I see. Well, if that's how you really feel," I sighed. "Don't let me get in way."
I turned and walked back down the aisle.
"Wait," Bella said, running up to me. "How did you know?"
"Oh, I didn't. I sort of fell in love too. I'm sorry."
"Really, that's great! I was so worried that you would be alone if I left!"
"Oh no, you should never have to worry about things like that. I hope you and Mike are happy together. Actually, I was wondering if you wanted to come to this party Alice is having for Rosalie and Emmet, they'll be getting married in about ten minutes. You could meet her there if you want and you could bring Mike."
"Really, thanks. Wait how did Alice know… Oh, that's right Alice and her 'gift'. Well, I'd better go give Rosalie my dress, so she can dress the part." She giggled.
"That would be great Bella, thanks." I said.
"See you at the party, thanks for inviting Mike and I!" She called over her shoulder as she ran down the aisle, looking for Rosalie.
"It was my pleasure!" I called back, laughing.
With all these quick decisions I was really glad that I'd decided to wait to turn her and now that she was going off with Mike she could be happy as a human and not always bugging me about turning her sooner then we agreed. That probably wouldn't have been the best option considering her final decision. At least, I hope that it is her final decision.
Now we could both be happy with the people we really loved.
"That was one of the best ones yet!" Rosalie gushed.
"Ha. You say that every time." Emmet said.
"Well, they keep getting better and better. Except for the first one of course, that one was the most memorable. That one was absolutely perfect!" She said clinging to Emmet.
"Let's go going." Emmet yelled in the sea of people.
