Prelude
"Niro? Niro! Please wake up…" The voice was faint; not even a whisper. It sounded familiar. Like a very close friend. Then a non-familiar voice called. "NIRO! AWAKEN! "My eyes flew open at the command. The first thing I see is Kinasi's face, full with fear. Her blue eyes were dull and there was a small jagged scratch on her left cheek.
I soon realized what was behind her. A solid white wall with a chain coming out of it. We were caught. The extraction had begun…
