Hello Tokyo Cutie- Stage 1

The alarm went off, flooding the room in a deafening opera of the radio's latest hits. Serena didn't move a bit. The pink mound of blanket on the bed remained still and undisturbed. A tuft of blonde hair peeking out from under the bedsheets, and a half-eaten eggroll on the desk were the only apparant signs of life in the room. With each minute of being unattained to, the volume on the alarm grew louder and louder until the songs chiming out of it were distorted. "Hello Tokyo cutie!" blared out of the small pink alarm clock. Mrs. Kinomoto burst through the room with spatula in hand. She was a slender woman with bushy brown hair and a kind face. Even fourteen years later, it was still obvious that she could have been a reigning beauty queen at one point. Her nautic blue eyes widened as she took in Serena's jungle of a bedroom. There were clothes splayed carelessy on the floor and half-finished homework littered the carpet. Mrs. Kinomto's eyes focused in one one particular item. Her eyes narrowed, and pure frustration replaced her disgusted expression. "Serena! Get up now before I call Mr. Tokuya from down the street!" Mrs. Kinomoto's voice was shrill and piercing.
