Summary: It was a dare turned sour.

Dare

Zack pulled the crying Fumiko into his arms and looked her dead in the eye. "Babe, I didn't cheat, it was only a dare."

Fumiko glared and ripped herself from Zack's arms. "Don't lie!" She snarled, wrapping her arms around herself in a lame attempt at comfort.

Zack sighed and ran a hand through his unruly hair. He didn't understand how one dare could turn into this. "Fu, it was a dare!" He said more firmly this time.

"Yea, only a dare." Fumiko rolled her eyes and turned to Zack. "Why were you both in just your underwear then?"

Zack threw his hands in the air and narrowed his eyes. "That was the dare!"

"You could've said no." She whispered, tears still falling from her eyes. "But did you?" She asked and barked out a humorless laugh. "No, you didn't. Do you want to be with her and not me?"

Zack's eyes narrowed further. This was pissing him off now. He could understand her being upset but to accuse him of this? That was going to far. "Do you trust me? He asked softly, bowing his head so his hair hide his eyes.

"How can I after this?" Fumiko asked harshly.

A mirthless smile formed on Zack's lips. "Did you ever trust me?"

Fumiko blinked. "What does that have to do with anything?"

"Everything." He whispered back.

"I did." Fumiko answered wearily.

"Then why don't you believe me when I said it was nothing but a dare?" Zack exploded, blue eyes filled with hurt.

"Because you were in a room with another women half naked!" Fumiko shouted back.

Zack shook his head and headed for the door. "Tsukiko trust Genesis half naked with other woman so, why don't you?"

"Because you're mine!" Fumiko snarled, running a shaky hand through her hair.

"If you don't trust me," Zack said softly, not once looking back. "I'm not yours." And with that, he walked out the door.
