GATE: Thus the Imperial Japanese Empire Conquered

A somewhat realistic take on the story. Not your usual **insert nation** fanfic with dumb characters and copy pasta from the original story. This is different, it's gory, absurd, downright hilarious and overall much better than many others. No, seriously. Atleast I think of it as such. Do review or don't. Also, if anyone can write this exact thing better, then please do so. Thanks

(I don't own Gate Jietai or anything except my own take on the story and I certainly don't own Imperial Japan because if I did, things would have happened much differently. {EVIL LAUGHTER})

***Gay ass Introduction***

I was tired of reading weak and lame arse stories about GATE Jietai that all include peace loving hippies etc. While in reality if this happened, the Saderans would have faced stuff that you can't even begin to imagine. Anyways this is a somewhat realistic, just a wee bit, approach on what would have transpired if the Roman wannabe pricks from a fantasy world invaded Imperial Japan during WW2 :-)

August 7, 1941

As the Japanese were preparing for the attack on American soil and the Americans anticipating it so that it might give them a reason to start a war with Japan (You know Japanese wanted resources and that's the reason for expansionism and the embargo blah blah, anyways let's go to story). A strange phenomenon happened, in Ginza a gate appeared. Due to the preparations for the attack on america. Streets were mostly filled with armed soldiers of Imperial Japanese Army alongwith their equipment.

From the gate appeared what looks to be bunch of Roman soldiers from the medieval period with some creatures from fantasy stories. And they charged towards the Japanese civilians and soldiers alike, brandishing their swords and spears. There were a few casualties but the situation was brought under control with minor loss of lives. When the news reached to the Emperor and the generals. They held off the Pearl Harbour and were now focussed on the Gate and what opportunities it has brought them. They don't need to expand to China or attack the americans. They can use this new land for the resources. So a new division was formed, it was called "Imperial Japanese Special Region Forces" or for short "IJSRF". Its leader was "Hazama Masato" and this division incorporated all elements of the traditional Japanese forces. It had its own Airforce, Navy and Army. But still, the matter of outdated equipment was important too. The equipment was superior to the primitive folks of Falmart but it was nothing compared to the German _Reich_, Soviets or rest of the Allies. So the first task at hand was to establish mines and factories in the special region to mine the resources and produce better equipment by using said resources.

But for now, they needed no headache in the war of Axis vs Allies so they did the most unexpected thing. They withdrew their forces from China and other Asian countries, only keeping a few places occupied and made non-aggression treaties with the respective parties and sent delegates to America to improve relations and to sign non-aggression treaties with them as well. And if asked why they are doing so, the answer would be "To avoid going down the path of self destruction we need to avoid further conflict with bigger fishes". Obviously the Americans were suspicious of this 180 degree turn of the Japanese but they agreed to it and the embargo was lifted soon and restricted trade began to happen once more.

The IJSRF marched into the gate with their Type 97 Chi-Ha tanks, Type 94 AA trucks, Type 1 Ho-Ni I tank destoyers, Type 97 Te-Ke armored cars and infantry units. They took over the Alnus Hill and practically mowed down the Imperial troops of the Saderan Empire. They captured a few prisoners and sent them for experimentation back in Japan. They constructed a base at Alnus Hill and started constructing runways etc.

Then the fighter planes and bombers were brought into the Alnus base through the gate. They would prove deadly against the dragons in the coming conflicts. The Japanese started to build factories and mines near Alnus Hill. Since IJSRF was a union of all 3 components, they started to work on new designs for the infantry equipment and tanks. With the newly gained resources it was possible to start production in huge numbers and soon the IJSRF was equipped with latest gadgets like the Type 4 rifles, Type 4 Chi-To tank Medium Tank, Type 5 Chi-Ri Medium Tank, O-I Super Heavy Tank etc. The morale was ever high. After the troops were equipped with latest equipment and everything was being mass produced and sent back to Japan. The Japanese had found a gold mine and they intended to keep it for themselves so they constructed a giant steel structure around the gate and ensured no spies would be around.

Battle of Italica

The IJSRF's recon team consisted of Youji Itami (1st Lt.), Akira Tomita (Sergeant 1st Class), Kosuke Kuribayashi (Sergeant 1st Class) {Sorry, as far as I know there were no female big tiddy soldiers in the Imperial Japanese Army so that's why no Shino}, Souichirou Kuwahara (Sergeant Major), Ken Kurokawa (Sergeant 1st Class){Sorry, as far as I know there were no female soldiers in the Imperial Japanese Army so that's why no Mari}.

They defeated a Red Dragon that had destroyed a village, not out of the goodness of their hearts but to avoid having that giant flaming lizard causing trouble for Japanese forces. It took the firepower of the Type 5 75mm tank gun of the Chi-To tank to bring the lizard down. After that, they had gone to Italica to observe the locals. They arrived when a bandit group had laid siege to Italica while Princess Pina was there with her troops.

They helped them in defeating the bandits after the bandits had almost defeated the Italica troops. They radioed for reinforcements from the Alnus Base and effectively took over Italica and exceuted almost all of the population except the magic casters, non-humans etc which were transported to the Research labs for experimentation :-). Princess Pina was tortured for information using the advanced interrogation techniques and so they had gained valuable information. (Probably raped too but Shhh)

Slowly but surely the IJSRF managed to exterminate the hostiles of this backwards empire and secured the areas for more labs, mines, refineries and factories. Eventually the Japanese managed to find a way to keep the GATE opened forever and started using the DNA from the magicians and non-humans to create super-soldiers. The Japanese managed to conquer Falmart within one year (exterminating most of the locals) and had become the most formidable force. Meanwhile the war was going on back on Earth but now the Japanese had the means to keep going for the expansion due to the special region's resources.

Eventually they helped Germany win the war and so the world was practically divided between Japan and German_ Reich_.

Now that I have finished this one-shot. Can someone pretty please use exact same thing but write it better and over 10k words or so? I would love to read it over and over. I am not too good at writing things even if I have interesting ideas.

Also, please don't start acting like snowflakes in the reviews. There are very few fanfics of this series that involve the reality of a war. WW2 was ruthless and barbaric. Nobody was a saint. Hell, even today nobody is a saint and geneva rules don't apply to other worlds so including all the horrible things in the story is allowed. Yay.
