Pleasant night sleep tight
A/N Just a quicki this is my first L/J fic so let me no what you think, plz plz plz leave a review, I don't like to beg but it only takes a minuet and it is so much appreciated.
As James stretched he felt something tickling his back and a small giggle. Rolling over quickly James grabbed the thing and picked to up, laughing at the shocked expression on baby Harry's face. James waved him in the air laughed as Harry giggled.
Looking over the side of the bed James noticed his wife Lily sitting on a chair watching them with a smile on her face watching the with love in her eyes.
"So love what are we going to do today?" James asked Lily while climbing out of the bed to had Harry over,
"Well I was thinking that we could go over to Sirius's you know how he wanted to give us the presents for Harry's birthday tomorrow then we could go to the park," Lily replied,
Seeing the quizzical expression on James's face she added, "I do like Sirius he just shouldn't jump out at people like he did last week, he just startled me that's all."
James stepped out of the bathroom fully dressed
"That sounds good doesn't it little man," Harry giggled as James swung him round "and then you get to go and see Uncle Sirius with lots of presents just for you and a fire whiskey for me!" James said chancing a quick glance at Lily
"James," Lily growled, "You are not having a fire whiskey I know what you and Sirius are like once you have one, it turns to five then five turns to ten, you can stick to plain butter beer,"
James gave in and picked Harry up while Lily went to get ready.
Lily walked towards the wardrobe drawing out some comfy jeans and a dark red halter neck top.
"Mummy and daddy are snogging again aren't they?" Sirius asked seeing his godsons face wrinkle up which meant only one thing
Turning around he yelled at them,
"Oy you two your scarring your only son for life here!"
Walking over Lily picked Harry up and put him on her knee and getting a bottle from her bag did something really unexpected
"Here," she said handing the bottle to Sirius "I know that you haven't had a chance and he will be getting a bit big soon so this is your chance," Sirius looked slightly shocked that she had considered.
Sirius took the bottle gingerly and placed it nixed to Harry's mouth gently encouraging him to suck.
When he had finished James took over burping Harry over his shoulder and chatting to Lily and Sirius at the same time.
A short while later James and Lily left after James being loaded down with bags of presents from Sirius and Remus, realising that there were to many to carry had to shrink them to fit into his pocket.
"Oh and by the way Sirius you don't think that Harry is going to be our only child do you, well at least he's not at the rate were going," and with that they left leaving Sirius gob smacked.
Pushing Harry along in the buggy they worked there way to the park, once in there they left the buggy by the gate and took Harry to the mini slide and baby swings, James watched as Lily pushed Harry backwards and forwards, making funny faces making him gurgle and talk in a way that only he understood.
Sliding towards them James slid his arms around her waist and whispered in her ear three little words,
"I love you,"
No other words were necessary except the ones she could say next turning around she whispered into his chest
"I love you too"
As they walked along the canal bank watching the sunset on their way home, Harry fast asleep in the buggy his little body curled tightly up in a ball and his thumb in his mouth, Lily and James walked behind pushing the buggy with one hand his other wrapped around Lily's waist everything seemed perfect little did they know that this was the last night that they would all spend together as a happy family, for that night unwelcome visitors decided to pay them a visit.
