Jack and Gillette found a corset
And didn't know who it belonged to
Jack ran off to God knows where
And Gillette yelled out for his crew.

Jack ran aimlessly
The corset he needed to stash
He heard footsteps behind him
And quickly hastened his dash

Gillette did grin
When Jack was caught
A hanging in the pirate's future
Was what the soldier sought

But Jack was wily
The corset he did use
To sneak past the guards
And search for the booze

Gillette screeched in horror
When he found Jack missing
The Governor was sure
To give him no commission

Jack smirked as he boarded his ship
His compass pointing to the right
He hoped the soldier would like his gift
As he sailed into the night

Gillette slammed his office door
The sound echoing down the hall
A corset on his desk made the officer smile
Maybe the pirate was not so bad afterall
