Task No.: The Lord of the Rings - Write about going on a quest

"You want to do what now?!"

"We have to go hunting for the horcruxes, Hermione! Voldemort–"she flinched and Ron made a noise in the back of his throat, "–could be making more as we speak! Those horcruxes make sure he lives longer than anyone should, even if we as witches and wizards do have a longer lifespan than muggles! And I DO NOT want to live in a world where that monster is ruling over us!"

Silence.

Then, "Is that why you want to go? So Voldemort doesn't rule over us all?"

"It's also because I want to end the reign of terror he has over us, 'Mione. I don't want my future kids to grow up in terror when he rules if I can just take him out."

"But Harry, this means having to kill him!"

"'Mione, I know that!"

"KILLING, Harry! KILLING!"

"I know that! And it makes me TERRIFIED. But, if we want to survive this war, we have to take him out."

Silence.

Then a sigh, this from Ron. "And how do we do that, exactly, mate?"

Hermione nodded, her hands planted on her hips as she stared at Harry. "Yes, Harry, do we plan on doing that?"

"The first step is to find his horcruxes."

"Where exactly do we find them, though?"

"Riddle's diary was taken care of in our second year, the ring that Dumbledore was wearing is gone as well, I think he mentioned a cup? As well as Rowena Ravenclaw's diadem? We find those first."

"Then what do we do?"

"Then we find a way to kill the soul pieces."

"And how do you plan on doing that, though?"

Harry grinned impishly. "Well, I've got you two with me, don't I?"

Hermione groaned, then sighed as she rubbed her face. "Oh, alright. But if we die and get killed, Harry James Potter, I will be blaming my death on you! I hope you know that!"

He laughed, then turned to Ron. "You in, mate?"

A large grin spread across Ron's face. "Of course, mate!"

"Well, we might as well start getting ready then," Hermione added. "If we want to live and find these horcruxes, let's start with the ones we know are at."
