A father. I was going to be a father. the thought amazed me. A creature like me could make a child. My beautiful mate was going to make me a Father.

Thinking of my Bella, next to me she lay. Sleeping with a rounded belly and a smile on her lips. she is beautiful. nothing could destroy this. We had found out that they baby was a boy. A boy. A stupid grin broke out on my face.

"Jasper, I can feel you smiling like an idiot at me" came her lilting, seductive voice. I looked at her to see her beautiful red eyes staring back at me. My hand found its way to her face. My thumb stroked her cheek.

"I didnt think you would wake so soon" I replied, my voice husky. She giggled and turned from her side to her back, a hand on her belly.

we had agreed to stay with the Cullens till the baby comes as Carlisle would be helping deliver the baby. The white bed looked disturbed while my mate sighed rubbing her stomach. She looked so happy. so peaceful.

It was midnight, well my mate was half human but sleep was not that much needed for her. But Bella thought it better for the baby. I looked at Bella and thought of the adventure we had gone on to get here.

Yep that summed it up. It was one hell of a ride to be honest. But worth it in the end. I have my mate and a son on the way. A growing family and now I learned that my brother and captain, Peter, was on his way. I smiled again. Even the Major was settled. But... theres always a but is'nt. But the same day I killed James a letter was dropped on the Doorstep of the Cullen home. A letter from someone I had hoped would never find me again. Maria. She was back. I stilled could see the curled and evil words on the page.

Jasper. my mate. My major. I grinned at the thought. Life was going so well. I had a baby boy in my belly. I was so lost in thought I had not noticed Jasper start to growl and shake. He looked deadly and my fear spiked. "calm yourself Jasper" i had begun to shake with fright. Then we heard it...

"So wheres the fucker" . OOh hell thats one southern drawl.
