Assassin's Creed: Arcane

That night was a night of terror, indescribable terror. Hans heard the screams and the shattering of the shop windows; he jumped down the stairs and started to pull out his equipment. He finished sheathing his throwing knives and was leaving the room, cane sword in hand, when a hooded figure dropped from the roof in front of him.

"And where do you think you're going?" asked Hans' father. He was dressed in light beige army uniform and a hood that made his face unrecognizable; he pulled out his revolver and shot at an SS officer, whom crumpled instantly.

"Coming to help, you don't expect me to hang around while you do all the work alone, do you?" replied Hans.

"Hans, Stay on the roof and use your long-range weapons, its too risky for a young lad like you to be going up against those SS brutes!", commanded Helmut.

Hans clambered up the side of his house reaching the roof with ease, he muttered to himself about his dad's overprotectiveness and pulled out his Kongsberg. He loaded 6 hollow points into it and aimed it at a civilian whom was beating a helpless Jew on the side of the pavement. 'Stay your blade from the flesh of the innocent.' Hans paused wondering if this man deserved to die,

"Fuck it! If he wasn't beating Jews he wouldn't have to die,' Hans muttered to himself whilst pulling the trigger. The hollow point entered the man's temple expanding inside the tissue; the man fell like a ragdoll onto the sidewalk. The bullets were designed for maximum pain and injury. The Jew shook his head and got up bleeding from the nose, he looked around for the killer of his attacker whilst Hans leapt onto the shop sign above him.

"Shh, take this." whispered Hans, handing him a Boker 1936 short hand blade. "Use it if you get into any more trouble," Hans directed. The Jew praised Hans and ran away into a nearby alley.

Hans surveyed the scene, noticing his father taking on an SS Imperial; he leapt onto the nearest roof noticing his father fall meanwhile. He stopped and saw his father stand and be struck down again by the imperial; the imperial looked around before pulling out a baton and wrapping it around Helmut's head. Helmut went limp from the pain in his head, he put his hand up to feel the wound but felt nothing. His skull had caved in, exposing the brain to the cold icy air. He attempted speech before finally pronouncing the words, "Nichts ist wahr, alles ist erlaubt," he collapsed dead.
