I missed you…

James Moriarty waited in the dark. He sat in silence, listening to the ticking of the clock, which was the only sound in the whole apartment. A tiny slit of light which came from the crack where the blind didn't quite meet the wall illuminated a small part of his face. It made one of his spider-like eyes glint.

He turned his head slightly as he heard the front door open and close. Whoever came in placed something on the floor and switched the lights on. They then went into the kitchen, which was on the other side of the apartment, and stayed in there for a bit. It was about five minutes before they came into the sitting room and turned on the lights. Jim smiled as he heard them drop a glass of something and then get out a gun.

"Do you think it is appropriate to point a gun at your boss, Tiger?" Moriarty could sense as the gun was lowered slightly in disbelief.

"James?" Moriarty stood up to face Sebastian Moran and smiled.

"Did you miss me?"

The two of them looked at each other. Sebastian was angry, that was easy to tell, and James was amused by the angry yet somehow emotionless expression the assassin had on his face. They had been sat there for a while now, just looking at each other, waiting to see who would speak first. It was Moran.

"I thought you were dead" His boss smiled and looked away from him for a second.

"I did a good job then" He laughed and looked back, but Sebastian was not smiling "oh, come on Tiger… Lighten up!"

"LIGHTEN UP?" Sebastian was standing now, and his hands were clenched tightly into fists "WHAT THE HELL DO YOU MEAN "LIGHTEN UP"? I THOIGHT YOU WERE DEAD! I MOURNED FOR YOU! I MISSED YOU! YOU LEFT ME! AND ALL YOU HAVE TO SAY IS "DID YOU MISS ME" AND LIGHTEN UP?" But he fell silent as Moriarty stood up and straightened his jacket. He gulped. Last time he stepped out of line, it didn't end well for him.

He looked at the floor as James walked up to him, not saying anything. There was yet another moment of silence as the smaller man looked at Sebastian, judging him, before he spoke.

"You mourned for me?" Sebastian gulped a little bit, before licking his lips and nodding, still not looking at James "You missed me?" again Sebastian nodded. Moriarty's face softened slightly "Tiger," He placed a finger on his assassin's chin and forced him to look him in the eye "I would never leave you just like that… you know that, I know that… we" But he was cut off by Sebastian pulling him into a passionate kiss, that they didn't break until they were in Sebastian's bedroom.

The next morning Sebastian awoke with Jim sleeping soundly on his bare chest. He smiled. He was going to have to talk to him some time, but right now… right now he could just relax and forget the world.
