The shivering nine year old girl wrapped her arms around herself, trying to keep warm from the harsh autumn cold. Her eyes filled with tears, her body felt numb, detched from everything around her. She couldn't believe this was her life, a little girl that never mattered, and never would matter in life. She wanted her parents more than anything but they didn't even bother to drop her off at a good home.
The extra small nine year old dragged her backpack through Boston city, her dark black hair blowing in the wid, while she saw a women cashing a guy. She looked over at the women with a sad look. She always wanted a 'mommy' but after her past experainces with her foster 'daddy's' she never wanted to see a man again.
Looking up from her feet, the lost little girl saw her bruised legs exposed the cold air, and her stomach was hurting bad. She hadn't eaten in weeks long, and her foster homes weren't exactly pleasant, the growing road going left seemed to only lead into more builings. If anything, she supposedd someone would help her get a place to sleep, she was far from innocents but her child like nature did charm good people.
Small tears fourmed in her eyes again, she herself trying to suppress all the other emotions that threatened to well up inside of her broken self, she was alone with no one to help her.
With a tearful face and small faith, as best she could she begged the skies, for a dad and a mom, a forever home. She slowly snuck into a builiding, the nine year old walked into the elevator, and with every move all she could hear was 'hope is for suckers' 'no one loves an orphan'
Looking around her surroundings in attempt to distract herself from her own thoughts, her eyes fell on an apartment door. I knocked on it several times, it quickly opened with the same blonde women I saw, she stared at me, "Um.. can I help you?" She asked me as I yawned. Her face softened, as she kneeled down to my level, then opened her mouth, "Sweetheart where's your parents?" She said softly.
"I don't have parents. They left me on the side of the road," I whisper as her face feel and she stared at me for a second.
She stood up and gently, but firmly grabbed my hand and walked me inside her apartment. I rubbed my eyes so tired but comepltyl filled with durt, and soaked from water.
"Okay kid," The young women starts, "You can stay with me for a while." She finished as the young girls face slightly went into a smile but all she could hear was 'no one wants you'
"Can I go to bed?" The young girl asked with a pouting expression on her face as Emma shooke her head.
"Kid. Im being generious and letting you stay. So before you go to bed bath time child." Emma said, "Call me Emma by the way."
