The story is a crossover between Merlin, Legend of the Seeker (TV show) and Age of Mythology and Age of Mythology: The Titans. The action happens after the end of both TV shows. Age of Mythology: The Titans happen after ten years of Age of Mythology. So action from the crossover in chapters 1-10 happens in 455 A.D. and from chapter 11 with ten years after Trojan War ended. (Age of Mythology: The Titans)
Legend of the Seeker is a television series based on novels in the series titled The Sword of Truth by Terry Goodkind. Distributed in U.S. by Disney-ABC Domestic Television, ABC Studios produced the series for first-run syndication with Sam Raimi, Robert Tapert, Joshua Donen, Ned Nalle, and Kenneth Biller serving as executive producers. The show premiered on November 1, 2008 and ran for two seasons before its cancellation in 2010.
Synopsys season 1:
The series follows the journeys of a long-awaited "Seeker of Truth" named Richard Cypher (Craig Horner), a Confessor named Kahlan Amnell (Bridget Regan), a wizard named Zeddicus Zu'l Zorander (Bruce Spence), and a Mord-Sith named Cara (Tabrett Bethell) as they defend the people of their realm against tyranny and destruction.
Synopsys season 2:
Richard Cypher discovers that the death of Darken Rahl caused a tear in the veil between the world of the living and the world of the dead—the Underworld. Kahlan learns she is the last living Confessor. The group, Richard Cypher, Kahlan Amnell and Zeddicus Zu'l Zorander, has been joined by the Mord-Sith, Cara. The only way to close the veil is to use the legendary Stone of Tears, which was used, by the Creator, to close the veil at the start of creation. The group searches for the stone throughout the season, overcoming many obstacles along their journey.
Heroes from Legend of the Seeker:
1) Leo Dane
When veil between the Underworld and the Land of the Living began appearing, the witch Shota learned of a prophecy where the Seeker at the time, Richard Cypher, would fail in his quest against the Keeper. She also had a vision that gave her a glimpse of the man who could be named the Seeker in Richard's place: Leo, who was then a blacksmith. Richard was taken to the Palace of the Prophets for his training as a wizard because he discovers he has magical powers and is unable to control them. Zedd finally agreed to Shota's insistence on naming a new Seeker, temporary. Shota then showed him her vision of Leo. Leo becomes the seeker for a short time because he sacrifices to save Kahlan, whose life was now crucial to the defeat of the Keeper. Leo's body was burnt by Nicci's magic beyond all recognition and thus, Cara would have been unable to revive him with the Breath of Life. He was then burned on a funeral pyre.
2) Richard Cypher aka Richard Rahl
Richard was born in Brennidon, shortly before Darken Rahl's army began the massacre of all first-born sons there. Luckily, the First Wizard Zeddicus took him across the boundary to the Westland. Zedd then gave Richard to the kindest couple in Hartland, who was George and Mary Cypher along with their son Michael. Richard Cypher was once, but a simple woods guide in his hometown of Hartland. He will be named Seeker by Zedd. His first mission was to stop Darken Rahl find all three Box of Orden and kill Rahl. After Darken Rahl is killed, he will discover his brother was Rahl. D'Hara needs a leader, but he refuses it because he must to find Stone of Tears and seal Keeper in Underworld.
3) Cara Mason
Cara was chosen to be trained into a Mord-Sith as a young girl. She vividly recalled her hesitation in not killing the men who tried to take her away (as her father had pleaded her to do). That hesitation changed her life forever. Hence, as all Mord-Sith candidates she was subjected to the three breakings; first of herself being broken, then of her Mord-Sith trainer, who she referred to as Snake, breaking her mother, then of herself breaking her father, and finally killing him. Her early life left her with an immense fear of rats, as they would nibble and bite her in the room, she was kept at night during her training, and hesitation, which caused her to be caught and turned her into what she was; and ultimately resulted in the death of her family. As with all Mord-Sith, she feared to die toothless and in the bed of old age. As a Mord-Sith, Cara was forced to be loyal to the reigning Lord Rahl of D'Hara, Darken Rahl. Rahl expected total obedience of his Mord-Sith and was known to beat and rape Cara and her "sisters" because they betray her and want to kill her. Cara was a former personal Mord-Sith protector of Richard Rahl and Kahlan Amnell, as well as one of their closest friends. Following the defeat of Darken Rahl, Cara pledged her life to serving Richard as the new Lord Rahl. Through her years of service to Lord Rahl and Mother Confessor, she developed a strong friendship and sense of loyalty, for both.
4) Kahlan Amnell
Kahlan Amnell was the Mother Confessor of all the Midlands and, later, the wife of the Seeker of Truth and Lord Rahl of D'Hara, Richard Rahl. After the rise of Darken Rahl, Kahlan ventured across the boundary to Westland in order to find the First Wizard, Zeddicus Zu'l Zorander, and ask him to name a new Seeker of Truth who would defeat Rahl. The First Wizard named Richard Rahl, and with Kahlan's help and guidance, he was able to kill Darken Rahl using the Boxes of Orden and the Book of Counted Shadows. Along the way, Kahlan and Richard fell in love. Kahlan's mother died when she was five years old, of a terrible wasting disease. After her mother's death, her father was unconfessed and he took Kahlan and her sister Dennee and forced them to use their powers to do his bidding. After a while, another Confessor found them, took them away from their father, and took them to Thandore, a magical valley hidden from evil where they were raised. Sometime after this, Kahlan was taken to be taught and trained in Aydndril by other Confessors.
5) Zeddicus Zu'l Zorander, commonly known as Zedd
Born before the outbreak of the D'Haran War, to gifted parents, Zeddicus Zu'l Zorander became known as a prodigy. Panis Rahl Wizard of the first order named him and he can name a new Seeker. The gift was stronger in him than either of his powerful parents and he was able to breach shields in the Wizard's Keep that even the old wizards who taught him were unable to pass. Indeed, as a young boy, Zedd discovered previously unknown parts of the ancient Keep. While still was young, Zedd married the love of his life Erilyn Zorander with whom he fathered a daughter. He is the grandfather of Richard Rahl and Darken Rahl.
6) Dennee Amnell
Is young sister of Kahlan Amnell. Dennee went with her sister on the way to the Boundary, but while they were being chased by a D'Haran quad, Dennee was shot with an arrow and made Kahlan promise she would continue on the mission to find Richard Rahl and Kahlan was forced to leave her. Some months later, Kahlan and the others found the surviving Confessors, discovered that Dennee was actually alive, and in a D'Haran prison. Kahlan and Richard managed to break her out of the prison and discovered that she was heavy with the child. Dennee soon gives birth to a baby boy, a very bad thing to happen to a Confessor, since all male Confessors born have to be killed at birth because of the uncontrollable bloodlust that they develop, as they grow older. She born a male confessor and her with rest of confessors leave to a magical Island. Rahl forces attacked the island and she died in battle. In the season of Legend of the Seeker, she will be revived but in another body. That body belongs to a wanton who worked in a brothel. Dennee with the new body will return to Aydindril. She appears in my story from chapter 2 with the wanton body. At the end of chapter 10, she will regain the old body again.
6) Shota
Shota was a powerful witch woman, living in the Agaden Reach. She had an extremely beautiful place situated there and the surrounding forest was infested with vicious creatures and almost living vines, possibly created by Shota. Her name was known throughout the Midlands, and feared, as it was said that even wizards feared the wrath of Shota. One little thing she has the same age like Zedd.
7) Denna
Denna was the Mord-Sith who was ordered to capture Richard Cypher and train him. She succeeded, but Richard's love for Kahlan Amnell let him escape the effects of being trained. He and Kahlan escaped the Mord-Sith temple, but not before Richard had killed Denna. However, another Mord-Sith, Constance, revived Denna with the Breath of Life. Darken Rahl punished her severely for letting the Seeker get away, and then he ordered her to find the pristinely ungifted one, Jensen Rahl and have her bring to him the third Box of Orden. Again, Denna succeeded, but the Seeker came upon them and Denna took Jensen's mother captive (who was also, unbeknownst to her, Zedd's daughter and Richard's mother) in exchange for the third box. To make it more pressing for the Seeker after she realized the woman was important to him, she killed her with her Agiel and would only give her the breath of life if they brought the third box back to her. Denna started a plan to train a D'Haran general, have him kill himself, and then kill Richard to have the general's spirit enter his body. The plan worked at first, but Kahlan, Zedd, and Cara caught on and managed to restore Richard's spirit to his own body. Denna captured Zedd and planned to train him to make her wishes, but Kahlan and Cara killed Denna right before Zedd had gotten her to consider living a better life. All people blame Legend of the Seeker because they make Denna an evil character, but here she is well and alive. I forgot to add after Richard gives a second chance she become a matron at brother where worked that Manton (new Dennee)
8) Sister Nicci
When Nicci was a young Novice with the Sisters of The Light, a man raped her. After she went to the Prelate for justice, she was told instead that the Creator had given her a great opportunity: to forgive him. She did this, but instead, he raped her again. Turning away from the Creator to the Keeper, he gave her the strength to kill the man. From that point on, Nicci served the Keeper secretly and became a Sister of the Dark. When Richard Cypher came to the Palace of the Prophets, she was the one to tell him of the Prelate's lies. She convinced Richard to give her his Han, making her extremely powerful. However, sister, Verna put a Rada'Han around her neck, taking away her powers. The Prelate and Verna tried to get her to tell her the other Sisters of The Dark's plans and names. She did, but their plans were already well in motion. The other Sisters used magic to set her free and she escaped and joined up with them. They all attempted to kill the Seeker, the First Wizard, and the Mother Confessor, but Zedd and Richard worked together and killed Nicci with her own magic. Another Sister of the Dark named Corsha sacrificed her life and the others brought Nicci's spirit back from the Underworld and placed it into the new body. Her Sisters eventually betrayed Nicci, and she placed Kahlan Amnell under the maternity spell, which made it so everything that happened to Nicci happened to Kahlan, forcing Richard to help Nicci. Richard convinced Nicci that she did not need to serve the Keeper anymore, and she told Darken Rahl's spirit that her power was her own and no one else's, and left the service of the Keeper. Nicci showed up at the Mord-Sith temple and nearly boiled Darken Rahl alive in an attempt to discover where Richard was taking the Stone of Tears. She caught up with Zedd, Cara, and Kahlan, and absorbed enough of Kahlan's Han to confess her with her own magic. Nicci was the one who fulfilled the Creator's newest prophecy and blinded the Seeker. Cara shot her with an arrow, which killed her, but her last command for Kahlan was to bring her the Stone of Tears, which might be able to bring her back even after death. Because Kahlan was confessed with her own magic she remained confessed, but things did not go Nicci's way.
9) Darken Rahl
Darken Rahl is the main antagonist of the first and second seasons. During the first season, he was a ruthless tyrant who sought to take over the Midlands. There was a prophecy that a Seeker, who was born in Brennaden, would kill him. To stop this, he ordered all newborn boys in Brennidon to be killed. However, the Seeker escaped to Westland beyond the Magical Boundary, with the help of Zeddicus Zu'l Zorander. Darken Rahl eventually found that the Seeker lived and sent his armies to take the Book of Counted Shadows and kill the Seeker. The Seeker threw the book into the fire. Later, Darken Rahl's main plot was to gather the Three Boxes of Orden. The Seeker eventually captured all three boxes with the help of his sister Jensen. Then a copy of the Book of Counted Shadows was found, which the Seeker also gained. He used the Boxes of Orden to kill Darken Rahl, who became a servant of The Keeper of the Underworld. Later, Rahl defected to help Richard Cypher, who had brought him back to life, only to trick him, and have to find the last Night wisp, in order to read the scroll, which has the instructions on how to use the Stone of Tears. In the final episode of Season 2, when Nicci went looking for Richard, to make him serve her own ends, she snuck into Rahl's castle and asked where Richard was going. He refused to tell, so she boiled his bath and he relented to say that he was going to the Pillars of Creation. He ordered his Mord-Sith to join forces with the Seeker and his friends, to kill Nicci. Nicci had died, killed by an arrow sent by Cara, and once Richard saved the world, he brought her back to life, so he could torture her. Now he is a good person.
10) Verna Sauventreen
Verna brought Richard Rahl to the Palace of the Prophets and subsequently helped him to escape, fulfilling the prophecy, after the revelation that the Sisters of the Dark secretly lived within the Palace. She almost killed prelate of light sisters Annalina and was banished from the order for a short time. Unfortunately, during the Imperial Order War, Verna would face constant threats and even personal loss; specifically in the form of the death of her husband Warren. Despite this, Verna continued to aid in Richard's efforts to defeat the Imperial Order, acting largely as the leader of all the gifted forces of D'Hara. Following the end of the war, at the conclusion of which the D'Haran forces claimed victory, Verna remained the Prelate of the Sisters of the Light and oversaw their efforts to help train young wizards in the use of the gift at the Wizard's keep.
11) Annalina Aldurren
Annalina Aldurren, commonly known as Ann, was the Prelate of the Sisters of the Light for nearly eight hundred years, before faking her own death and handing over the title to Verna Sauventreen. Having lived under the spell that slowed aging the entirety of her life Ann lived an unnaturally long life. In conjunction with the prophet Nathan Rahl, Ann spent the better half of a millennium carefully influencing events set down by prophecy, to ensure that magic, and the freedom of all people, would not be destroyed by the shadow of the Imperial Order. Indeed, were it not for Ann's actions many of the key events of the Darken Rahl crisis or the Imperial Order War, would not have happened. The prelate was a strong believer in Prophecy, so she instructed all of the Sisters not to tell Richard about the Wizards Web that slows time in the Palace down. Because of the Prophecy that said, Richard was doomed to fail in his quest to defeat The Keeper, none of the Sisters was allowed to tell Richard about the Wizards web over the Palace, for fear that he might leave and continue on his quest, and then the prophecy would come true.
12) Sisters of the Light
The Sisters of the Light were a group of sorcerers who were dedicated to serving the Creator. The sisters lived in the Palace Of The Prophets in the Old World and their duty was to train young Wizards how to use their gift when there was no other alternative. The Sisters of the Light lived in the Palace of The Prophets and were lead by a Prelate. The Sisters all dressed in red dresses with matching red veils they wore over their faces most of the time, except for the Prelate who wore a light shade of pink. When no other option was available, the Sister was the ones who would train young Wizards how to use their gift. Normally, the Sisters would look for the gifted boy when he was still a child because that way it was easier to train him how to use his gift, but they did not find Richard Rahl until he was a grown man. Sisters of the light serve the Creator. As with the Sisters of the Dark, they fought most of their battles with weapons called Dacra. With the help of Dacra they can kill someone (unleash a powerful magic what is able to kill someone instantly).
13) Order of Confessors
The Confessors were an order of women first created during the Great War as a means of ascertaining the truth beyond doubt. One notable confessor is Kahlan Amnell who aids the Seeker of Truth on his quests, who later becomes the last Mother Confessor of the Midlands. Created by a Wizard using an all-powerful set of tools called the Sharkiah (were like big magical needles), the first Confessor was Magda Searus. The magic of the Confessors destroyed the person touched by their power; in the sense that such a person would lose their sense of self, would submit their lives to the Confessor, and would do whatever they commanded. The Confessors were soon instigated as the rulers of the Midlands, with their leader, the Mother Confessor, acting as the First Chair of the Central Council in Aydindril. However, after a three thousand years long reign, the Confessors were hunted down and murdered in their entirety by small groups of Darken Rahl's army called quads, excepting the last Mother Confessor Kahlan Amnell and her sister who is brought back to another woman's body with dark magic. Most powerful confessors are able to use a powerful magic named Condar or the Blood Rage.
Villains from Legend of the Seeker
1) Giller
Giller was a wizard of the Second Order. He was one of the students of First Wizard Zeddicus Zu'l Zorander and Mother Confessor Kahlan Amnell's assigned protector. He betrayed the order of Confessors and ally with Darken Rahl.
2) Nicholas Rahl
He is the son of Darken Rahl and Kahlan Amnell. Nicholas Rahl, better known as the "Master", was born into the world where Richard and Cara had been sent 50 years into the future, leaving the world to live without its protector. He is a male confessor. They must be killed when they are born because being unable to control their powers and became mad. Condar of male confessors is not as strong as woman confessors.
3) Sisters of the dark
They are the same with the Sisters of the Light but the only difference is:
-They serve the Keeper, known as the Master of Underworld
-They use dacra like Sisters of the Light but they are able to steal han from somebody and become more powerful.
4) Banelings
A Banelings is an agent of the Keeper. They are followers of the Keeper, doing his bidding. They often do very evil things, including beating people to death, falsely accusing other, innocent people as being banelings themselves, and so much more. Zedd mentioned in Stone of Tears that banelings are known by many names. Darken Rahl himself mentioned that he was an agent, meaning that he himself was also a banelings. The Sisters of the Dark are also banelings. In the Legend of the Seeker television series, banelings are those that have died and been offered a second chance at life in service to the Keeper. They are required to kill a person a day in order to stay in the world of the living. The clock is reset after each kill. Therefore, killing multiple people at once will not result in multiple days of life for the banelings. In the television series, Darken Rahl and the Sisters of the Dark do not count as banelings, in this sense, although in the episode 2.19 - Extinction, we learn by Darken Rahl himself that he was a banelings (the very first one) before he was killed by Richard Cypher at the end of the 1st Season. The only way to prevent banelings from returning is by destroying their physical bodies, e.g. by burning them, while their souls are trapped in the Underworld.
5) Keeper
The Keeper was known to have a relationship with the Creator, but he grew jealous of her children and betrayed the Creator, by creating death and releasing it to her children. The Creator wept for days without end, a Stone was formed from her tears, and so she used its power to seal the Keeper in the Underworld for an eternity. When the Veil was torn due to the destruction of the Boxes of Orden, it allowed Keeper of the Underworld to unleash his banelings and other kinds of evil creatures to terrorize and wage war in the land of the living. He usually communicates with his servants most notably the Sisters of the Dark through Darken Rahl his chief agent. He has employed the Sisters of the Dark to kill the Mother Confessor Kahlan Amnell since prophecy states as long as she lives he is doomed to fail in his plans. At one time, the Keeper heard that the Creator was in the Land of the Living in the body of a girl named Maia, he commanded Darken Rahl to open a rift and take Maia, but Richard saved her and Maia used her omnipotent powers to close the rift. Later the Keeper was enraged that his chief agent Darken Rahl betrayed and so commanded Sister of the Dark Marianna to kill him, but she failed twice. When the Wizard of the First Order Zeddicus Zu'l Zorander accidentally warps reality and time, the Veil was repaired and Keeper's war was prevented and so to start the war again the Keeper commands Sister Marianna to collect the Sword of Truth and the Boxes of Orden and destroy it, but she fails again. Feed up with his servants failures, he creates a rift to prevent Richard's friends from going to the Pillars of Creation. He then takes the body of a boy named Declan and manipulates Richard into giving him the Stone of Tears and leading him to the Pillars of Creation when he was blinded by Nicci (who sent shards of glass to his eyes). He also ordered the last group of Sisters of the Dark to kill Kahlan (but they failed as she was in the Blood Rage). Later, after taking the Stone of Tears with him to the Underworld, he was sealed once again to the Underworld forever by a new Stone of Tears created by the Mother Confessor Kahlan's tears. As the Keeper of the Underworld, he is a being of immense power. The powers he demonstrated are the ability to make Banelings, people who have taken his twisted deal and resurrect the dead. Since he granted Darken Rahl some of his powers, that means he can also open rifts to the Underworld and use the flames of the Underworld to torment many people. He can also take the body of a dead person.
6) Army of D'hara
7) Mord'Siths
The Mord-Sith, also known as the Sisters of the Agiel, are an elite group of women warriors originating from D'Hara. They were created to defend the master of D'Hara, Lord Rahl, from creatures or people with magic. A Mord-Sith has the unique ability to capture the others' magic and use it against them. Once a Mord-Sith has successfully trained a person, instead of wearing their usual red leather, they don white leather and continue to use their Agiel. A Mord-Sith is selected from the gentlest and kindest girls in D'Hara and is trained from a young age on three levels. Each time, she must be "broken".
-The First breaking is a time during which she is tortured to the point of obedience so strong that she would do absolutely anything her mistress tells her. This part of the training breaks her of her sense of self and personal desires.
-The Second, breaking, she is forced to watch as her teacher slowly and brutally tortures her mother to death. This is to break her of compassion (this part of training does not seem to happen in the TV show).
-The Third, and arguably the most difficult breaking, is when she gives the instrument of torture and must inflict pain and suffering upon her own father until she finally kills him.
-When she has completed this task, the Lord Rahl gives her the magical ability to redirect the magic of anyone who uses magic against her. Mord-Sith also has the ability called the Breath of Life.
Mord-Sith has the ability to turn a person's magic against them, allowing them to redirect magical attacks. They can also reflect a magical weapon back to the user, as shown by Denna and Cara. They can endure a heavy amount of damage thanks to their training. They use the Agiel to inflict pain on their opponents, which can kill them. They can also use the Breath of Life as the name says, a Mord-Sith breathes life into a dead body and the person that died will come back in perfect condition. However, this only works if the body is still warm. If a Mord-Siths becomes a Baneling, they cannot use the Breath of Life. If a Mord-Sith is confessed they will die a slow and painful death, thus making Confessors and Mord-Sith mortal enemies.
