P.S. Still don't own Rango...
"Engaged"
Imagine your OTP announcing that they're engaged to their family and friends.
The small green haired boy was beyond nervous, as he looked over to his fiance as of just a week ago. Jake didn't even look the slightest bit off as he got dressed for the day, he even had a bright smile on his face.
"Come on, babe, don't look so nervous." Jake chuckled as he looked at Rango, who was currently sitting on their bed.
The younger blushed a little and bit his lower lip. "How can I not be nervous? What if our friends hate the choice that we made? What if they hate us for it?" He asked and Jake laughed.
"Why would they hate us? They didn't mind that we're together, after all." He reasoned and Rango shrugged.
"I-I guess..." Rango them whimpered a little. "But what about Mayor? He hated this whole thing right from the start."
Jake rolled his eyes and walked over to Rango, sitting on the bed beside the smaller boy. "Don't worry about that ol' grouch. As ya said, he hated this from the start, so why would his opinion matter now?" Jake cooed, kissing Rango and the green haired individual sighed, kissing back.
"O-okay..." he mumbled and Jake stood up, pulling Rango up with him.
"Now come on, let's go tell our friends." Jake smiled at Rango and Rango smiled back, nodding.
Rango stood nervously beside Jake as their friends stared at the two. "So, what's the big news?" Beans asked and Jake grinned, wrapping his arm around Rango's waist.
"We're engaged." He chirped and for a moment there was only silence, which made Rango even more nervous, before cheers and claps wrang throughout the room.
"Congratulations!" Beans whooped and Rango visibly relaxed, smiling as Jake tightened his grip and the older man looked down at him.
"See? Nothin' t' worry 'bout." He murmured, kissing Rango's head.
