"Go tell Aunt Rhody... Go tell Aunt Rhody..."

The old lady silently hummed the lullaby to herself. The woods creaked below as the shadowy girl pushed her grandmother's wheelchair across the silent halls. Above them, somewhere in the large house, faint gunshots can be heard.

The girl's tentacles gently opened the doors. Sometimes, nothing stood behind them. But in other times, the mold monsters would be hiding behind the doors. They would turned their root-covered heads at the sound of the doors opening, only to turn away when the girl and her old lady walked into view.

"She died in the mill pond... She died in the mill pond..."

The old lady's hand slid from the arm seat. Smiling dimly, the girl helped her to put her hand back. She clenched the arm seat a bit tight, not wanting for her arm to slide away again, for the floor was filled with so much mess.

A tentacle slithered across the wall as if finding or sensing something, then another one, and then another one. "He made it." The girl smiled again, as if she sensed that something had happened. Somewhere else in the house, a small explosion can be felt.

"Go tell Aunt Rhody... Go tell Aunt Rhody... Go tell Aunt Rhody..."

"Everyone is dead. " The girl finished silently.

A spider, perhaps no smaller than a trolley, crawled just above the living room. It sensed two objects approaching the room it was in. The spider looked through its multiple eyes that the shadow girl and her grandmother entered the room. It quickly crept away, much to the girl's amusement.

An old telephone rested on a nightstand. Softly pushing the wheelchair away with her tentacles, she reached the telephone and dialed a number. Moments later, someone on the other side picked it up. The girl spoke,

"Did my father give you a hard time?"
