Phoebe rolled over and stared into the eyes of the man she loved.
"I love you Alex"
"I love you too phoebe."
As she stared deeply into his perfect blue eye, she knew something was wrong. His eyes didn't have that same look in them as they did a week ago. Alex rose from the bed and started to get dressed.
"Baby where you going? It's early, please stay."
"Phoebe…I need to tell you something…"
He trailed off as he spoke, getting quieter. At this point the look in her eyes turned to pure terror. The one thought she had, was her greatest fear.
"Please no…please don't say it…" she said to herself. "Don't leave me..anything but that"
She sat up and he walked over to her...got down on his knees and looked deep into her eyes. He gave her a little smile and started to speak.
"Baby you know I love you, you have changed me, changed who I have been, and taught me how to love."
With this phoebe's thoughts started to change…"its romantic, can he really be the one?"
Alex looked deep in her eyes and gave her the most passionate kiss she had ever received. She felt something slip into her hand and heard a faint whisper…"Goodbye my love"
She opened her eyes and Alex had vanished. In her hand there was an envelope. Tears streamed down her face as she slowly opened the envelope.
"Phoebe…I'm sorry I can't tell this to you in person, but it's easier this way. I love you with all my heart and soul, and if I could, I would stay with you forever. But there's one thing I couldn't bring myself to tell you. Baby, the evil inside me is growing more and more every day. Yet every day, with every kiss I fall more in love with you.
