Disclaimer: I DON'T OWN XIAOLIN SHOWDOWN OR THIS STORY BECAUSE IT'S MY SISTER'S!!!!!!!!!!

One morning was a very special morning at the temple. Everyone was making cards for this upcoming mother's day. Well, all except for one. "Guys, there's something wrong with Kimiko that I can't put my finger on" Dojo announced. Everyone stopped making the cards and stared at Kimiko.

"Maybe I should go and ask what's up" Raimundo said. He got up and walked to Kimiko. "Hey, Kim" Raimundo said. She didn't reply. "Why aren't you making something for your mom, after all, tomorrow's mother's day" He continued. Still Kimiko didn't say anything.

After five minutes of silence, Kimiko got up and walked off. "What's her problem?" Dojo asked. "To tell you the truth, I have no idea" Raimundo answered and walked after Kimiko. When Raimundo was close to Kimiko's room, he heard someone crying. The closer he got, the louder the crying got until he was next to Kimiko's room.

He took a quick look and found that Kimiko was the one crying. Without even thinking first (as usual), Raimundo went inside Kimiko's room. When he was close to her, he gently touched her shoulder. She looked up. Her eyes were red, her eyes were very watery from the tears that still streamed down her cheeks.

With a worried and sad look, Raimundo asked "what's wrong? Was it something that I said?" Kimiko shook her head. "What is it then?" he asked again. "If you promise not to tell anybody, I'll spill" Kimiko finally said. "I promise" Raimundo replied. "The truth is, I……I…don't……I DON'T HAVE A MOTHER TO GIVE A CARD TO! MY MOTHER DIED" Kimiko shouted.

Crying hard, Kimiko hugged Raimundo really tight. Raimundo felt really sorry now. Finally, he spoke "How did she die?" "She died in a fire" Kimiko answered. She looked up. Her eyes were now puffy and red, her cheeks were wet from the tears. Raimundo leaned on Kimiko's head.

"I'm sorry that happened to her" he said. "You really don't have to feel sorry for me" Kimiko commented. Raimundo picked up his head, looked down and gave Kimiko a look. Then he leaned towards her ear and whispered "I have reasons to feel sorry for someone" when they let go, Kimiko gave him a look and then smiled.

"If you want to, you can make a mother's day card for my mom" Raimundo said. "I guess I should do that" Kimiko replied. After the whole scene was over, Raimundo and Kimiko walked back to the courtyard, holding hands.
