Disclaimer: I don't own Trudy Tommy or Monk

Adrian looked at the clock. 7 o'clock. Tommy looked very tired.
"I think it's night, night time buddy," he told Tommy, "what do you think"
"Um yeah," Tommy said to his newly adopted father.
Just then Tommy spotted a teddy bear.
"MY BEAR," he said, "MY BEAR"
Monk looked to see what he was talking about. He was looking at a teddy bear that Trudy had won him in a carnival.
"You like that bear?"
"MY BEAR," Tommy said excitedly, "MY BEAR"
"Come on buddy. Let's get you ready for night-night"
"My bear?"
"Do you want bubbles in your bath," Monk asked
"Um yeah… my bear"
Monk smiled to himself. Tommy knew what he wanted and he could not be stopped from getting it.
"My bear?"
After he bathed Tommy and listened to Tommy's new chant… my bear, my bear, my bear he brushed his teeth, hair and got him ready for bed.
"Do you want your race car pajamas or your dinosaur pajamas"
"Wace-car neater," Tommy said
"That's my boy"
"My bear pwease daddy," Tommy asked
Monk tussled his hair a minute and then smiled at him.
"Okay buddy," he said, "you can have the bear but the bear is very special to me so I need you to take good care of him"
"Um… okay daddy"
"I'll go get the bear for you."
"I stay wif you tonight," Tommy asked
"Sure buddy," Monk told him, "climb under the covers and I'll be right back and I'll read you a story"
Monk went and got the bear for Tommy.
"Okay Tommy," Monk said, "here's the bear"
Monk watched as his son carefully cradled the bear as if he were an infant. It was an amazing sight. Tommy and Trudy's teddy bear… it was enough to bring him to tears.
"Night daddy," Tommy said before he fell asleep, "I love you"
"I love you buddy," he said kissing his forehead
