She sat all alone, alone and afraid
Afraid of the deep lonely darkned days
She rememered his face his startiling smile
She'd smile back, it would last for a while

But she could not hide the fears she knew
For something even stronger within her grew
She let herself down, and fall to this man
The one who was kind and gave her his hand

But he betrayed her and now she is lost
She gave her heart, and all for this cost
She fell so far and is broken within
Her shattered heart she could not mend

She spent nights crying into the night
Wishing for her darkness to be turned to light
She'd pray to the gods, for happiness at last
But they could not help change her past

So she now has to face her dark fears
She must be strong and hide all her tears
For if she lets go, her past will come back
Her world will fall and all will turn black

So she must be brave and fight her way
Because she know she'll get better one day
She'll be able to look back on her past and smile
Knowing that he.....was never worthwhile.
