A black figure lept to the tree outside of Kurama's window just in time to hear "I can just forget about Hiei..."

Hiei lept noisily from the tree and dissapeared into the forest. Kurama heard the noise and lept to the window just in time to see Hiei dissapear into the distance. "

Hiei..."He wispered. He ran down stairs, out the door and toward the forest. It was winter and snow covered everything. Kurama raced into the forest. "

He called over and over again but no one answered.

"Hiei!"

I can hear him calling but I don't want to answer...he doesn't care! I can feel my eyes get warm and I squeeze them shut...I can't cry...not now...not with him so close...I squeeze my eyes tighter. It doesn't help. I can feel tears start to run down my cheeks...

'Oh...where could he be...but...wait! over there is that...it is!'

"Hiei!"

I shout as I run to him. My eyes widen when I see that he's crying.

"Hiei..." I whisper..."

What's wrong?" "

Oh, like you don't know..." Hiei says - hurt

I raise my eyebrow, confuesed .

"No...I don't..."

"What is it Hiei?" I ask.

I wrap my arms around him but he pushes away.

"YES YOU DO!" Hiei shouts

"Hiei please...I really trully don't know..."

Hiei growels and answers

"Well then you should pay more attention to what the hell you say!"

"Hiei please..."I beg

"I trully don't know..."

"I'm sorry...whatever it is...I'm sorry...

" Hiei sighs and says

"You said...fox...that you could forget about me..."

Kurama's eyes widened as he recalled what he had said to himself.

"No...Hiei...what I said was that I couldn't just forget about you...you didn't hear the first part of the sentence..."

Hiei's eyes widened. He turned to look at Kurama.

"So...you do care about me?" Hiei asked nervously.

"Of course I care about you!" Kurama exclaimed.

"I can't live without you!"

" I...I-I...I love you!"

Hiei's eyes widened. 'Am I dreaming? I must be...he couldn't have really just...did he...?'

"R-really?"

Kurama nodded.

"Yes Hiei...I really do..."

Hiei froze for a moment then lept into Kurama's arms and hugged him tightly.

" I love you too fox..." Hiei whispered.

Kurama smiled and hugged Hiei back. After a few minutes he released the little demon and picked him up. Hiei looked up at him, confuesed. Kurama just smiled. "It's too cold out here..."
