Author's note: Hey guys! Long time no see, this is just another story that I've had forming in my mind over the past few months that just HAD to be shared with you guys. Also, I apologize for not updating the next chapter for Broken Heartand Nightmares on Mobius, I'm in a bit of a writer's block for them at the moment, but I promise, the second I have them finished, I will update ;) That's all I really had to say.

Don't forget to review (please, no flaming!) and enjoy!

A hedgehog who discovered more about the past than he had bargained for, a girl waiting on a wish, an experiment searching for a meaning in his life, a dark evil threatening to approach two worlds intertwined as one, and an adventure beyond anything either human or hedgehog had ever imagined. When a small-town girl comes across one of her long time favorite heroes, her life takes a drastic turn when everything that once seemed impossible becomes possible and for the first time in her life, her wish comes true. But what will be the cost of it? And what will happen to the rest of the world?

Prologue

"Blast that wretched HEDGEHOG!" the scientist screamed as he yet again faced defeat. He pounded his fists on his computer console and shook his head, growling to himself. "Every plan, every scheme, every time, he's always one step ahead!"

He glared at the computer. Recordings of a blue blur slashing and destroying robots and weapons were playing across the screens, explosions erupting from everywhere. The scientist grit his teeth. "What could I possibly do to stop him? Every plan I have has a flaw. He always finds a way to defeat me, ME, the almighty and powerful DR. EGGMAN!" He slapped his hands on the console again. "There must be a way to stop his annoying attempts..."

He glanced up at the computer again, and amid the blue blurs and explosions of metal, a small picture could be seen. He scrunched his eyes and pointed at it, enlarging it to cover the whole screen. Something sparked inside of the evil scientist's head and a cruel grin spread across his egg-shaped head. "But of course..." he said to himself, stroking his mustache with a pleased look. He took a long look at the picture. "Present or future is all the same...but the past? Sending him there would mean no trouble at all." he said and chuckled. "After all, what place would be better than to send an "alien" of his type into a past where no such thing has ever existed?" his eyes shone with glee at the thought. This was his chance to at last rid himself of that pesky hedgehog. "At last," he said and pointed at another picture of a blue hedgehog, a maniacal grin spread across his face. "You may have one this time around, but I've got something better in store for you...Sonic the Hedgehog."
