Henry was dead tired. He was up until one in the morning last night writing a research paper that could've been done two weeks ago. So as soon as school let out he ran to the practice room to find Natalie…and to crash on risers.
He entered the room only to find Natalie at the piano as usual, only with a huge can in her hand. It look like an anorexic Pepsi can to him. He quietly snuck up behind her to try to get a better look at it.
"Henry? What are you doing?"
Damn, he thought. she caught me… "Um…what's that?"
"This?" She pointed to the can as he nodded. "It's my Red Bull."
"Red Bull?"
She just stopped and stared at him in disbelief. "You've never heard of Red Bull?"
"Uh…nope. Why do you think I'm asking?"
She rolled her eyes and grabbed the can for him to see. "It's an energy drink. It's like all sugar. It's my equivalent to pot."
"Really?"
"Really."
He seemed to contemplate the can a little more. "So…it's an energy drink?
"That's kind of what I just said."
"Gimme!"
He snatched the can from her hands, but she was persistent on getting it back.
"You drink out of there, you die!"
"Why?"
"Because! You'll get it all germy!"
He gave her a sly smirk. "Dude, we've touched tongues. I don't see how this is any different."
"It's a lot different! I don't think about it when you kiss me, but this is just-!"
But before she could finish, he put the can to his lips and greedily gulped down about half its contents.
"What the hell?"
But he couldn't pay attention to her. He was too busy getting a sugar high.
"Holy shit! That stuff works!"
He drank some more, but she soon tugged it out from his hands. "Give me that. See? Now you're hyper."
"No I'm not! Oh my God, what's in that?"
"Sugar."
"I like sugar….."
She rolled her eyes at him. "I bet you do….C'mon. Let's get you home before you break something…"
"M'Kay!"
She grabbed onto his arm like he was a little child and dragged him out to her car.
"No more Red Bulls for you…"
