The Right End
I didn't like the way journeys end finished so wanted to do it my own way. So here goes let me know what you think out there. Oh I don't own Doctor Who wish I did.
"All right. Both of you, answer me this. When I last stood on this beach, on the worst day of my life, what was the last thing you said to me? Go on, say it." Rose says looking at the Doctor in the brown suit.
He looks so heartbroken as the memories of that painful day come back to him, he replies, "I said, Rose Tyler" He stopped not sure what to say, if he had a right to say what he felt.
Rose waited for him to go on but she noticed he may need a bit of a push so she pushed, "Yeah, and how was that sentence gonna end?"
Gazing at her and knowing that what he says can decide her future he makes up his mind to decide it for her. So unable to say what he truly felt he goes on, "Does it need saying?"
Rose understood what the Doctor was trying to do for her even though it hurt to hear. She turned to the blue suit wearing Doctor and asked, "And you, Doctor? What was the end of that sentence?"
The new Doctor leans to her and whispers it into her ear. She hears him say, "I love you" that made her heart expand with joy. When he told her that she backed up and stared knowing that this is what the Doctor really wanted to say.
Rose leaned up and kissed him on the cheek and said, "Thank you". She turned back around to the brown suited Doctor and smiled. He looked at her confused as she walked over to him and enveloped his hand with hers.
"This is where I truly belong. Right here with you I'm finally home. I promised you forever and will be with you till my last breath." Bringing his hand up to her chest area to put his hand close to her heart. She stared into his brown eyes and said, "I won't let you do it."
"Do what?" he asked playing stupid.
Giving him her heartbreaking smile of teeth she answered, "Give me up cause you think it's a better safer life for me. Trying to make me happy. Nothing will make me happier then standing by your side. Nothing you do can change that."
The Doctor brought his other hand up and squeezed their joined hands. Smiling the happy boy smile he nodded. "Rose Tyler your making me the luckiest time lord in any universe."
She jumped up into his arms as he swung her around hugging her. Never wanting to let this lovely creature out of his arms.
Jackie had walked up to the blue suited Doctor and placed a hand on his shoulder giving it a small squeeze. She coughed to let the couple know they were still there.
Breaking apart the Doctor looked at his human counter-part and turned to Jackie, "You think you can keep an eye on him. Keep him out of trouble."
She intertwined her arm thru the blue doctor s one and nodded, "Don't worry about him we'll take good care of him. But knowing you I probably need to keep two eyes on him, maybe three."
Rose went up to the other Doctor who just stood there unsure of his place in this new world. Grabbing his warm hand she said, "Don't worry she ain't so bad. You'll do great things here." She walked over to her mom and gave her a big hug letting a couple of tears shed, "I am going to miss you mum, plus dad and the baby. Give them both my love." Jackie cried as well knowing she was never going to see her again, "You just take care of yourself luv. You'll always be in my heart."
The two Doctors stared at one another and the blue one said, "This is the right thing I would never have been real enough for her. You're the right Doctor for Rose. Just make sure she is never sad and you tell her how you really feel." The Original nodded walking back to where Donna waited.
Rose ran after him waving goodbye to her mother.
Jackie yelled out before they got on board, "You better take care of her Doctor or I'll know about it and parallel universes won't keep me from smacking you."
Rose and the Doctor looked at one another smiling getting into the Tardis for there next big adventure.
