Flashback: 4 years ago when Shane Gray was 14 and Miley Stewart 13 they were in their bathing suits by a lake they were also best friends since they were 5 years old. Ill race you to the other side of the lake Miley said. Sure why not? Shane replied.
They get in and start swimming to the other side of the lake.
Miley just finished eating and she got a cramp
She went under underwater trying to get back up but she couldn't. She fainted. Shane made it to the other side and yelled finished. He looked back to see Miley almost finishing
But he couldn't. Miles where are you? He cried out hoping for
His friend to respond but there was no replie.
He swam around and saw her necklace floating. He got scared.
And went under water to try to find her but he couldn't.
He through she went home and got out the lake.
Thinking maybe she did drown but I can't find her body.
He panicked and went home to tell his brothers. Miley woke up
And went back up to the surface and got out coughing and was about to faint again thinking where's shane? Then she fainted

Shane was on his bed laying down looking at a picture of him and Miley and got tears in his eyes…
I wish it was me that drowned not you he whispered to himself
His brother Nate walks in. you still miss her? He asked shane
Yes Shane replied quietly . get over her Shane . she's been dead for 4 years. Nate replied
Yeah I guess I should. He replied back.
Miley was sitting on her bed looking at a picture of her and Shane she started to tear up.
I miss you Shane! She cried out. Her mother walks in and sees her crying.
Miles he's in a good place watching over you she said as Miley hugged her.
I know mom but why him? Miley cried out again.
God chose him to leave sweetie Miley's mother said. Miley was crying hard.

Miley was aready in the school walking in the hallway but she bumped into someone. oh i'm so sorry she said. it's ok shane said. he looked up and got wide eyed Miley looked at him weirdly are you ok? she asked what's your name? she also asked. he snapped out of it. oh sorry my name is shane.. shane gray he replied.
