The air was crisp and cool. The chill well below zero. The ground was covered by snow.
The small white, frozen water crystals had just finished falling, leaving the world in a peaceful slumber. It was late, the sun, though not seen, had disappeared beyond the horizon many hours ago, leaving the moon to coa the village in a glowing resin.
The residence of the large village had all retired shortly after the sun, preferring to curl up in their cozy, warm beds rather then facing the cold chill of the night.
This left only the sound of crunching snow, beneath the boots of the only villager awake.
Her rosy cheeks put her hair to shame as the cold pecked at her face, the only exposed part of her body. She jammed her hands deeper into her pockets, to protect them from the cold. Her only thoughts revolved around the beauty of the world around her.
She loved the snow. She loved what it did to the world. Everything was at rest, lost in the glow of peace and tranquility. It was like a sleeping child, beautiful.
Yes, she loved the snow. She loved it dearly. Everything good that had ever happened to her, happened when it was snowing. She herself was born on a cold, snowy March night.
Only a year ago she consummated her love with her two bedmates, also former teammates, on a beautiful snowy night just like tonight.
That moment had to have been her favorite, being caught between two of the most handsome, hunks of men in the world. Both proving their love to her all night long, while the howling winds blew the snow around.
She smiled at the memory.
Love, such a beautiful thing. Up until a year ago she wasn't even sur what love was. And then…it just happened. She was't alone anymore, she had her boys. And nothing could ever take that away from her.
The snow crunched loudly beneath her feet as she neared her small hame. Stepping onto the wooden porch she turned back to the street and watched as more large, fluffy snowflakes fell from the sky.
So caught up in the scenery, she missed the sound of the front opening. Only when she felt two strong arms pull her into an embrace from behind, did she realize she wasn't alone.
"Beautiful night isn't it?" the tall handsome blonde whispered in her ear.
"Mm." she replied. They stood for a moment in silence until; "Come on, Sasuke's building us a fire in the fire place.
She smiled as she followed him into the house and removed her outdoor clothing.
Once finished she walked into the living room where said boys were sitting on the couch in front of the fire. They both looked toward her as she walked in.
"Enjoy your walk?" Sasuke asked. Sakura nodded. Both boys smiled as they gestured for her to sit between them. She smiled lightly as she sat between them. Both boys wrapped there arms around her.
She cuddled into them happily, reveling in their warmth.
Sasuke and Naruto watched her as Sakura slowly drifted to sleep.
"I love you." She murmured before finally falling asleep.
"Love you, too."
This one just came to me as I was watching the snow fall one night.
