Story: Hurricane
Author: Selestria
Summary: A past heartache brings to former ducks together.
A/N: This short story evolved from listening to the song "Hurricane" by 30 seconds to mars. There is a pairing but I didn't feel the need to develop where or when it began.
"Its been two years Tammy he's gone. You have to stop blaming yourself it wasn't your fault." He held her shoulder forcing her to look at him. She couldn't look him into his eyes. She shoved his hand away and downed the drink sitting in front of her on the bar counter.
"You don't get it, I was the one who drove the car I was the one who crashed and I was the one who killed him," Tammy stood out of the stool and walked towards the exit.
"Well then he should have known better," He mumbled to himself. She turned, walked right back and smacked him full in the face.
"He did Pete! But I forced him into the car and I drove drunk anyway." She stormed off and leaned against the outside of the building. Tears of sorrow streaking her cheeks as the memories haunted her.
______________
"Tammy maybe its better if I drive."
"What are you talking about I'm perfectly fine"
"You cant even put the key into the ignition"
"Shut up! You use to be the rebel of the family when did you become the goody goody?"
_______________
Pete ran through the door just as she walked tried to escape confronting the guilt and the pain. He grabbed her by the arm not saying anything as she smacked him again. She tried again then punched him, pulled on his Mohawk, ran her finger nails against his face catching onto some of his piercing. Finally Tammy fell to the ground and hugged herself, he sat next to her and held her in his arms and whispered, "I'm sorry."
"He's gone," She cried out, "He's really gone. Why couldn't he have been smarter and drove the car? It should have been me, it should've been…" Pete just held her as the tears continued to pour.

"Watch out!"
"What?"
Tire screeches were heard in the background. The airbag were engaged both driver and passenger lay motionless. Blood against the windshield, screaming heard from outside the car.
"What happened?"
"…"
"Tommy?"
"…"
"TOMMY!"

"I killed him, I killed him," She held onto the one person that continued to comfort her.
" Forgive him, forgive him for his sake and then you can learn how to forgive yourself," He held with no intention of letting go as he kissed her forehead.
