Always Double Knots
Dean reflected as he sat against the head board of a random motel bed.
They were alright until they hit that patch of ice. Arms flailing, they each grabbed a fistful of the others coat to keep from falling. They went down hard. Dean heard Sam wheezing next to him and looked above him just in time to see his own shoe falling gracefully through the air.
Dean grunted as he prodded the goose egg on his forehead.
Replacing the icepack, he kicked the offending boot across the room.
The noise startled Sam. "Dean?"
Dean nodded carefully. "All good Sammy."
