My Only friend
Lucas wasn't the most popular kid at the smash mansion, he barely seemed to have any friends. Toon Link and Young Link kind of thought he was weak, Nana and Popo never played with him, Red basically ignored him, Pit was a jerk.
Lucas seemed to think he didn't have a friend at all, he began to feel very lonely, tears escaping his eyes.
" Lucas, why are you crying?" Asked a kid in a red baseball hat and striped shirt, it was Ness and he seemed truly concerned.
" C-cause... No O-one... L-likes me..." Lucas said in between sobs.
Ness looked truly surprised, he had thought he and Lucas had a friendship.
Lucas shut his eyes and just cried.
Ness pulled the blond headed boy into a light embrace, hugging the psi user.
Lucas opened his eyes in shock, he had been so blind! He DID have a friend! He began to smile.
" Thanks Ness, you're my very best friend."
The two hugged for several minutes.
