Chapter 2: forbidden love

Kagome walked wearily to the courtyard. She had a secret meaning with Inuyasha, but was still upset about her run in with Naraku. Her mood lifted when she saw Inuyasha sitting, waiting for her. "Hello Kagome." he said smiling. He kissed her quickly on her cheeks. She sat down next to him. "I've missed you so much, she siad to him, mothers been crabby lately and I just want to get away from her sometimes." "Kagome, Inuyasha spoke, when you are queen you can go anyplace you want, with me by your side of course." Kagome smiled and leaned over and kissed him. He stopped smiling and a wave of fear swept over his face. "we cant be doing this in public kagome, he said softly, there will be rumors and gossip." Kagome sighed. "well when are you going to tell everyone, will I be your secret queen?" "When I divorce Kikyo, it's a dangerous time now, Naraku is lord of nearly everything, his family grows stronger, not just here but overseas, I am doing everything I can to make sure his clan loses reign on most of their power, then we will be married." Kagome smiled and lightly touched his hand, her smile faded as she saw inuyasha and Kikyo's daughter, Kanna, and naraku crossing the grass. Naraku layed a cold eye on her. "You will bow before your princess," he sneered before kagome. Kagome had forgotten briefly how much she hated Naraku. She had no choice but to bow. "Ah, Kanna, said Inuyasha lovingly, I heard you were briefly ill, how are you nowdays?" Kanna laid a quick unfeeling eye on Kagome. She regarded her as nothing. As long as kanna was alive kagome's place would never be for sure. Kanna would never accept her as queen, or a mother figure, and she would hate any siblings she produced with her father. Inuyasha had a bastard child, another daughter, Kagura, that lived off in the countryside with her harlot of a mother. The kid had came in contact with the only royal relative she could to get money for medicine to save her mother from a horrible fever. That person she found was Kanna. Kanna famously slammed the palace doors shut in her face, then when the Kagura's mother died she sent out a letter saying her home would now become royal property to be given to her mother. The church agreed and said it was a debt owed to her mother, for the Kagura's mother sleeping with her husband. The girl would've been homeless if Inuyasha hadn't sent her off to a decent sized house paid for by himself. He had scolded Kanna for her actions. The bastard's mother had always been his favorite mistress. Kanna stressed the unimportance of any half- siblings to her, and greatly stressed half- sibling, not even a relative to her, a child of a whore, trash born out of wedlock. She told him she would never accept any other children he had that was not with her mother, and would do anything in her power to have them illegetimized, or threatened. Kagome knew Kanna would never be a sister to her children. A part of her felt sad her future husbands' family wouldn't accept her. The other part could understand. Kagome had hated her father's mistress with a passion. If they had had any children Kagome would've never accepted it, possibly even hurt it if she had the chance. The last part of her feelings knew she had to be queen at any cost, and forget everyone elses feelings. Kanna walked off with another word, almost stepping through kagome, as almost if she wasn't worth stepping around. "Did you bow to your princess before she was leaving?" Naraku said with a smirk. Kagome bowed again silently. Naraku moved on. "Don't worry honey, when you are queen everyone will bow to us." Kagome smiled lightly. Unsure
