No Rest for the Asgardians

It was around midnight at the SHIELD Helicarrier, and everything and everyone was peaceful and quiet, no sound of noise or clatter at all…

"Ouch! I knew they should've warned me before dropping that blasted anvil!" Loki winced, hopping on one foot, while tending to his injured right foot

Well, almost everything was quiet…

'Uggh…Loki, what are you doing? It's practically midnight, for All-Father's sakes. Get back in the cabin." Thor grunted, embracing a monitor by the doorway

"Um…Thor? Over here." Loki called out, directing his dazed, star-struck brother to where he was standing, meaning the bridge deck

"Ah, how clever, brother. You know that the God of Thunder is very quick on his feet, and I'll tell you, I can see very clearly in the dark." Thor ranted, before tripping on Loki's scepter and falling on the latter, landing on the deck in a heap

"Oof. I fell on my Tessaract keys." Loki groaned, rubbing his back in pain before turning to his brother "Hold still" He said, as he searched for some water and dirt

"Brother, what is the meaning of this? This is the modern age, not some cheap Sodom and Gomorrah thing." Thor ranted as Loki gently placed watered mud over Thor's eyes

"What the…?" Cap grumbled sleepily in astonishment, having been aroused by the commotion. Behind him was Black Widow, Banner wearing his Led Zeppelin boxer shorts, and Stark, wearing his Green Day American Idiot t-shirt

"Ok, somebody tell me what the heck is going on. And better make it quick, cause I can easily cook up a drift of chloroform within fifteen seconds!" Black Widow hissed in mid-yawn

"Long story, Agent Romanoff. First let me give my brother his sight again." Loki confessed as Thor stared at him, with an entirely confused and amused look

"Give my what? Brother, I am not blind! I can see clearly now, the rain is gone…" Thor started, drifting into nonsense

"Ok, first things first: Cap, get that mud off of him. Second, see if he's been raiding my Pepsi stash again, and Third: Place a security system around here. This is getting way too out of hand." Sif muttered, waving her hands in the air before retreating to her cabin

"Come on brother, we can discuss this in the morning…" Loki yawned, as he and Cap escorted a dazed and intoxicated Thor to the CR chamber

"Daisy, daisy…" Thor muttered

"I told you watching Space Odyssey was a bad idea." Maria hissed at an amused Stark, waving his hand to the beat

"Ah come on, you gotta love the classics." Stark grinned
