Two for the end

Despite all his efforts she had managed to go on with her life.
High school, college, marriage, motherhood.
Happiness, joy and love. Suffering, pain and tears too.
It was during one of the happiest days of her life that he finally struck and got revenge.
Her goofy, loving husband, her two wonderful, glorious children all in the car with her as she was driving to her little brother's wedding. In the broad light of day the owl swooped suddenly out of nowhere right towards the windshield. Her husband swerved to avoid hitting it, the car spun out of control, there was immense pain, blood and then nothing.
She woke up at the hospital, the only survivor of the car crash that had taken her entire family, destroyed her life. She knew immediately who had done this to her and why. And she knew what she had to do.
She spent months regaining the use of her legs and training herself for what was to come.
Now she was finally ready. Tonight all debts would come due.
She stroked the smooth, cold steel of her new gun. It was loaded with only two bullets. One for him, the other for her.
She took a deep breath and spoke, "I wish the goblins would come and take me away, right now."
Quick drabble that popped into my head when reading some of the newly posted Labyfics. It certainly is different from my normal writing.
