"Ron? Ron? Are you here?" Hermione asked as she entered his run down apartment with a plate full of food. Ron had become increasingly absent over the weeks and Hermione had grown concerned when Ron was found in his apartment, high on heroine. It had gotten to a point where Ron wasn't eating, because all of his money went towards drugs. So, Hermione would take over a plate of food everyday twice a day, to make sure he ate.
Today, however, he didn't respond to her call. Hermione began to search the apartment, and when she reached the bedroom, her heart stopped. There she saw Ron, lying on the floor next to three needles. She ran over to see if he had a pulse, it was faint but there. She quickly phoned the hospital.
Tears rolling down her cheeks, she begged God to save him, "Save him, please God save him. Take me, if that means he'll be saved." The emergency medical workers came in the door, and put Ron on a stretcher, while Hermione sat in the corner, sobbing. Harry—who was called by an E.M.T.—had come just after they left, to get Hermione and go to St. Mungo's.
Once Ron was stabilized, Hermione was the first in his room. All she could think of was the time, two months ago, when she was almost Mrs. Ronald Bilius Weasley.
(Flashback)
"What am I like in bed?" Hermione curiously asked.
"Whoa, not expecting that," Ron laughed, and then he laughed a suggestive laugh that indicated that he was thinking about her…in bed.
"Oh my god!" Hermione said exasperatedly, "Will you just answer?"
"Why do you want to know?"
"Because I am curious, can you blame me for being curious?"
"Yes," Ron said with a laugh.
"Just answer."
"Fine. You're amazing, so much so that I achieve pure bliss while I am in you."
Have I told you how good It feels to be me When I'm in you?(End flashback)
Hermione laughed as sad tears rolled down her cheeks. That night, they had made love, and Hermione had become pregnant. But as life must have its way, it had turned into a miscarriage. Afterwards Ron had become distant, and left Hermione, alone. He continued to hurt her emotionally, never physically, but Hermione had become—what she felt as—the loneliest person to ever live. Today was the last hit she could bear.
"Ron," She said, instantly hardening her heart for what she was going to do. He looked up at her, and she continued, "I have been hurt, to much in a small amount of time, by you. And today, was the last day my heart could take another hit… I can't be with you while you do drugs. Let's face it Ron, you love the drugs not me." And with that she left.
