This is my first fanfic drabble, so review, even if you have nothing to say. I'm too lazy to find that "e" with the accent mark over it for Namine's name.

I'll Set You Free
They say that I'm the Keyblade master.
They say that I am the source of all Heartless.
And they say that I have the power to defeat the darkness.
But that's not true.
Well, not entirely true.
I couldn't save Namine.
I couldn't get her out of that castle.
I let her down.
I broke my promise that I made to her.
…Well not really…but…
She was so…pure at heart…
We could've been friends, and she could've come back home with Riku and me…
But she couldn't leave that stupid castle because she wasn't a "real human"
But she was real…she had real feelings…
And when I hugged her, I could hold her in my arms…
She showed compassion and kindness.
She had a heart.
But she was a "nobody", and not a somebody.
What's the difference anyway?…I could never figure it out.
She was just as real as Riku, Kairi, or me.
But she was trapped like a bird in a cage.
…I want to set her free from that cage.
But no matter how I think of it, I can't find a way how…
I can't think about giving up though.
Because I see her smiling face every time I consider it.
Namine…
Blonde hair lies over your right shoulder…sky blue eyes…and your smile…
…It's beautiful…
What made you smile so true?
Was it the belief that I would free you someday?
Namine…
No matter what, I'll never give up.
I can't let her down, not again.
Namine…I will set you free.
I promise.
