Prologue
There are many different worlds that exist in the plane of Zion. Some are stepped into a realm of magic and wonder, others on the edge of scientific revolution of travel beyond the stars. Some are entwined in an age of prosper and peace, while some are engulfed into the cacophony of war. Regardless of their state, these worlds are only stars in Zion, the plane that binds them to one another. And these stars… are fading.
A blanket composed of shadows wraps itself around Zion, covering her children in darkness. And as this sheet grows longer and longer, every world is swept away in the tide, its glow vanishing along with it. Zion's shine is now dimmer than before, and the blanket grows ever thicker. And the number of stars that disappear at first alone now go out in groups.
But just as the hand of death looms ever so close, life finds it's way…
A/N: This was a story I've always wanted to write ever since I was in grade school. A story where all the characters I love and know over the years all come together in one big set. After all that time admiring crossovers done by other people, I've decided to finally give my own spin on it.
