This story takes place in Olette's POV
I felt…strange. Different. So happy, but unable to believe what had just happened as well. The afterglow, maybe?
I glanced at Roxas, still snoozing beside me. The sun was just rising, casting shadows across the both of us. He'd fallen asleep immediately afterwards, so I don't know if he for sure remembered. He was probably going to be in denial as well. I mean, it'd been so sudden…When we started hanging out last night, neither of us had expected this to happen. What would Hayner and Pence say? The four of us had been friends for so long, so I don't think we'd let something like this get between us…right?
But…I took a moment to revel in the wonderful event. It was incredible! Roxas had been so amazing! Sure, it'd had been difficult, especially for me, and there had been I couldn't wait to do it again…But there was a worry in my mind. What if he didn't want to again? I don't think I could handle that! It had meant so much to me…It had been my first time, as well as his…But did that hold any sustenance with him, or would he just go and find someone else? Like that blonde girl he always mentions…Would he think she'd be better than me?
Oh my god! Our parents! I'd always been such a good girl! What would they think, with me indulging in such things? Oh…And here came the ashamed feeling that I'd heard follows the afterglow…
The sun was shining fully into Roxas's bedroom now. I wondered when his parents would awake. I didn't want to be here when they did. Sure, they liked me, but I doubt they'd be happy if they knew what had happened. They had been so proud of Roxas…
I got to my feet and looked around for my jacket and shoes. If his parents caught me sneaking out, the least I could do would be to look decent. I almost shuddered when I looked into the mirror on his closet door. My hair was a mess! It was to be expected, but I hadn't thought of it! As I hastily combed through my hair with my fingers, I heard Roxas shifting behind me. Fear seized me. What was he going to say when he woke up and remembered? I turned slowly to face him.
"Olette?" He murmured through a large yawn. "What's-" He cut off abruptly, looking around. He noticed the rumpled blankets on the floor, to the sun shining through the window. His eyes widened and his face turned a pale white. "No…"
"Yes," I said, kneeling in front of him. "It happened. I'm so sorry."
Roxas put his hands on the floor, almost shaking in horror. "I can't believe it. I won't believe it!"
I smiled sympathetically, reaching out to rest a comfortingly hand on his shoulder. "Roxas, there's no use denying it. Last night…I totally beat your high score on Halo 3."
Tee hee.
