A/N: Hello everyone. I thought I'd start this category because, say, Ori Princess is the best Chinese cartoon I've ever watched, besides, my imagination is urging me to write fics about the Princess and her friends already XD

"... A bit to the right! No, no, left! GAHH, when are you gonna understand that by saying 'right', I mean my right?! That's better... Wait, a bit higher..."

"Jeez, Sherree, no need to make a fuss over there!" - sighed the young gentleman sitting on an extravagantly decorated stage that had been put up just half a day ago. The said teen, otherwise known as Valenmy, proceeded making red paper cutouts while watching the long-haired girl going crazy instructing the muscular slow-witted boy the place to hang the last New Year couplet.

Little did Valenmy know, Sherre wasn't only upset by Maxzo's trademark idiocy; puffs after puffs of steam shot out of her head as if she were a locomotive also thanks to the fact that the one, the mischievous royalty mainly in charge of the whole thing was nowhere to be found. This, the entire "New Year Special" thing is all her idea in the first place! she thought. She is the one who should be responsible for decorating the stage, not me!

As Maxzo was about to place the couplet at the spot Sherree thought was "perfect", he decided to let go of his concentration and questioned out of instinct: "Oh, there you are Cassee, where have you beeeeeeeeeen?", making him consequently fall off of the ladder he'd been balancing on and rip off a fairly big portion of the stage background.

Not having enough time to get upset at the muscular teen, the long-haired whipped one-eighty degrees around and, without thinking twice, blasted the Lion's Roar at anyone who had just shown up: "WHAT THE HECK WERE YOU DOING?! WE WERE WAITING FOREVER FOR YOU! YOU THINK IT'S COOL TO COME UP WITH AN IDEA AND THEN SLACK OFF?... Wait, you're not Cassee..."

"Well, if I'm not Cassee then who do you think I am?" - replied the other - slightly terrified - individual.

"C... Cassee?" - Sherree's eyes widened to the size of ping-pong balls - "You... You weren't here this morning because of this... this sheep costume?!"

"It's not a sheep costume, it's a goat costume!" - replied the Princess who was then sporting a coat of gray fur and two horns on top of her head cheerfully - "This is the Year of the Goat, so I can't host the Palace's New Year Show without showing my spirit!" - with that, she twirled a full round, showing her friends the long tail attached to the costume.

Sherree face-palmed.

End of chapter 1.

A/N: Okay, I know the Year of the Goat is still months away, but it's too late to write about the Year of the Horse now. Better early than late~
