Defiant

Some walk the safe path; ours is the way to glory.
The brave stand their ground while we rush to the fray.
Always ready, always on guard, vigilance is our duty.
We shall never be defeated, we shall never retreat.
And if our foes should ask for our surrender,
We shall be... Defiant.
I guess this is poetry of a sort. Which I don't normally write, but I was inspired during a DS9 marathon.
