(A/N: I dunno whatI was thinking when I wrote this... I was very bored last december I guess... So, here's to a short fic. Which I will never finish... or will I?)
Taken
Rei sat on the flat stone ledge. He ran his fingers through his lose hair. Lately things were getting boring. He could predict every single thing that could happen. It was always the same. He took the drigger blade out of the hand made sack hanging from his waist. Tyson wandered around the corner his arms folded behind his neck.
"Hey Rei."
Rei turned around and smiled.
"Hey, kid."
"Don't call me kid!" He huffed.
"Then stop acting like one." Laughed Rei, "C'mere a minute."
Tyson walked up the steps and took a seat beside the tiger. His golden eyes fixed upon the blader in front of him. The dragon wielder shifted under the intense gaze. Rei noticed this and asked,
"Where are the others?"
"I dunno. I was just about to go find Max and Kenny to go eat."
"And Kai?"
"He's off somewhere being a jerk."
"Ah, I see."
Rei gripped his blade and reached over with his other hand and pressed his thumb against Tyson's forehead. The blue dragon symbol glowed under his touch. Rei took his thumb away but there was some kind of connection pulling him toward the mark. Rei dropped the blade and the connection broke. Tyson's eyes fell to the back of his head. Rei grabbed his shirt before he could fall himself. Feeling a surge of power he looked back at the boy's forehead. The mark of the blue dragon was no longer glowing. It looked like it was carved out right from his forehead. Reaching into his sack he pulled out a roll of bandages and wrapped it around Tyson's head.
"Interesting."
A few minutes later Tyson opened his eyes.
"What happened?" He asked trying to steady his head.
"You fell off the ledge. You had me very worried." Rei said looking concerned. "You hit your head on the ground. I hope you don't mind but I bandaged it up for you."
"No, I don't mind. I just think⦠I think I'll go to sleep."
Tyson got up staggered off into the building. Rei smiled and removed his right glove. And there the blue symbol glowed.
"Power of the wind. Maybe this will help me keep from getting bored."
Rei walked off into the woods. In a clearing he sat alone. Sleeping just him and the wind of nature.
