There are a few things that are inevitable. The sun rising, snow in the winter, fights in the corridors. But what about two complete opposites - Romeo and Juliet, some people would call them. What about those two? They were completely preventable. Their meeting could have been avoided if Romeo had decided to just sulk about Rosaline for another second, or if Juliet had actually spoken to Paris. But this isn't a story about Romeo and Juliet, though the themes are similar. This is a story of a snake and a boy.
Now you're probably thinking this is a cliche - and it sure is. Though it has a few more bumps. And no, they don't end up committing suicide, don't worry - their names aren't Romeo and Juliet. The girl is nothing like a Juliet, she's anything but soft. And he? Well he's just a boy who happened to fall in love almost like Romeo did - but he's more clever. And love at first sight? The complete opposite happened here - well for one of them anyway.
And don't you worry - we'll have our Mercutio and Benvolio at your service, along with a witty nurse to keep the entertainment up. Though their names will be a bit different, their clever lingo and fun adventures will in fact, be the main reason why our Romeo and Juliet end up together. And we'll have a Paris, how can anyone forget about dear old Paris? Poor boy had his heart broken by our dear Juliet, only to die a very painful death and sudden death. His fate, alas, doesn't change the direction this tale ends up in - in reality, it helps our dear Romeo and Juliet find one another.
And one more thing - this tale does not take place in the mundane Verona, in the early years of 1303. It takes place in a very magical castle in the middle of Scotland. And by magical - I mean magic. This story takes place in the year 1972 and the two main characters of this wonderful adventure aren't sure what they're about to get into.
Those two characters that I've compared to Romeo and Juliet really go by the name of Andromeda Black and Theodore Tonks.
